Thanks for the reports! Was able to fix the first bug, the second one seems to be a bug I fixed but haven't put out in a release yet.

After playing this I realized one thing, Alicia and also George are the one who is suffering the most, all cuz of that sob Dolus. While I personally do hat Richard at least he is capable than that Dolus.

We put a bunch of different checks and balances into it in case you simply don't want to do the trial part or figure out the evidence; you can take the corruption path immediately and just not bother trying to refute François's testimony; you can intentionally present the wrong thing 4 times and just end the trial with the "bad" outcome; you could have gotten a lifeline from Marie by blackmailing her with the affair evidence, which gives you an extra chance if you lose your lives.

The intended path for the non-vice route though is:

1. Press François's line "That left everyone but Anthelme and Lorraine accounted for downstairs as they went up."
2. Present either Laval's Affair or Marie's Ledger against the line "Of course, Marie has no reason to lie, so my alibi remains as strong as ever." (if you blackmailed her and present the affair, you'll get a confirmation prompt since it loses you her support for the lifeline)
3. Present the Sleeping Formula against the line "While I was alone with Marie due to his nap, there's no way I could have known he would be asleep."
4. Press Marie's line "He did say as he left that he had 'something he had to do'."
5. Present Letters to Lorraine against Lorraine's line "I was sick of weathering his barbs in silence, so I was going to demand he stop."
6. Present Laval's Diary against François's line "In any case, nothing this 'true heir' can do would actually prove their provenance."
7. Present the Missing Will against the line "You know nothing about this supposed heir. Perhaps you intend to scour all of Verdeaux?"

Note that there's currently a bug where if you have the *full* version of the Missing Will from having both the scrap of paper and having talked to Camille about it, it doesn't work when you present it against the testimony line. This has been fixed for the next release.

The path for the vice route is the same up until the post-recess if you chose not to cross-examine François. It's then:

1. Present Letters to Lorraine against Lorraine's statement "I knew nothing of it being with Laval; nothing has changed between us two."
2. Present the Marked Article against the line "Anthelme told me to go see Laval first after we talked a bit in the study."

From this point, the choices are vice-based and you're told which evidence will be used.

Point 2 is the one I think has the weakest logical connection in the trial overall and I'm going to talk to Absurdity about perhaps revisiting it; there is a hint if you press that statement but I still think it needs something more.

I got stuck in vice route, had 12 or 13 vice and Use the diary needed 14+ and stop needed less than 10... cheated past.

Hi, id like to ask something regarding the max lewdness run. I've been following an optimized walkthrough, and as in the picture shown, it requires me to get the Mutated Hydrangea Mind Pollination 10 times to get willpower to 0. However it seems after 15 or so times the hydrangea casts its 2 spells it wont do anything except normal attack me. The max ive gotten is down to 30 willpower before it runs out of mana or sth. So is this an outdated part of the guide or am I missing something ? image_2025-01-04_051506201.png

I would love to support the dev in the end, though I cant do the monthly on patron sadly. anyone know how much the game will be on release on steam?

It's not going to be the end of development, but yeah, the next major release is the game's "full release" where the main story and endings will be finished and as far as I know when the Steam release is planned.

You could buy it right now on Itch if you follow the link on the first post. it's $18 US at the moment. I've seen a decent number of games get a price bump once they get a full release, so I'd expect it to either match that or be a bit more expensive once it's on Steam.

Hey everyone. Im trying to see how far I can corrupt Aura before her first time. Avoiding the drug dealer, Hermann etc is easy but what troubles me is George because I dont actually know how to avoid or delay it.

Does someone know about some mental changes to preferably avoid or delay the George chain on earth as long as possible?

I believe you need Hedonism 2 and some amount of Lewdness (I think 30) for the sex scene to trigger. But you also need 30 - 40 for vag sex with the other characters, so don't get that orb before it's George's turn with Aura.

Man, i screwed up, I didnt realize where the Underground City Bar entrance was and i killed pretty much everything there, I tried following the tutorial how to reset the switches but the Cheat Menu i got (That was recommended) Is not letting me open DevTools (F8) it just displays an error, Could someone help me out?

Which tool are you using? This one lets you mess with the switches, but I really wouldn't recommend it for a game this complex, except for unlocking the gallery scenes. You never know what's gonna break. I'd either go back to a save before the massacre, or just go on with the playthrough.
