So, I actually found a weird bug. I gave the bomb proficiency 2 book to Desmond because I figured I would never use it, but when he finished it I got the ability.
But there can be alternate ending, where Richard is silenced by Aura. Goddess rule over Roya. Alicia and Aura return to earth and create their lesbian club with all cheerleaders
I don't think it should work that way, even though there's soul contract. Because I gave lots of unused book to all 5,i never received any stats or benefits. But I will give it a go.
Tried it and lost my book to desmond, with no return.

Chances are you've either missed some mental change or need to wait a day or two for a real world event to fire that unlocks it.
A yellow crystal outside a room indicates there's an available mental change in the room.

i dont have any more events popping up. all of the crystals are green (aside from the interest room, but ive looked everywhere there and the only things i can change are the fetishes)
edit: edded my save folder in the mental room
another edit: i was finally able to do it. idk what it was, but somehow more things opened up eventually

Go to interest room and remove the first one of the two books remaining on the table. Then you can activate estrangement the next day.
Also, apparently the crystals are no longer yellow when there are available mental changes, but blue. Never even noticed that happened ^^
So I can't seem to find anyone else with this issue in this thread but I may have just missed it but on the steam version of the game, fully updated and with the lewd patch I seem to be missing various images related to Laura, specifically her Clothing_2.png and other aspects of her once she changes her outfit. and checking the 1.02 available here it seems like those files aren't there either?
Missing those files has sadly made the game unable to be continued for me since any time Laura is supposed to show up it fails to pull the image and soft locks, and while I could manually make copies of the pre change Laura and rename them to what the game wants, it seems more likely something has gone wrong on my end since other people here are fully beating the game and not running into this issue. Any ideas as to what might be going wrong? Or is someone gracious enough to put a zipped file of the Laura images so I can just manually fix the files heh

Save? Laura only has 2 Clothings, 0 and 1. There seems to be an incorrectly set variable somehow.
I was using this save to check some things in the clear room and whenever I was checking a few different events in the real world it would fail when Laura popped up asking for clothing 2 and other files when I tried to trouble shoot by renaming files. So specifically file32 in this folder is what I loaded up but here is the whole folder with the config files.
The error screenshot is from Fighting Over Richard 5 but I noticed it on a few others.
It could very well be that the save I grabbed off of the forum here for testing purposes has issues and set variables wrong? If that is the case then that's a relief, I was mostly just checking a few things before me and my gf start up our tandem/ coop playthrough. Or really it's more I get to choose which actions happen during the mental/Alicia portions of the game while she does the bulk of the Roya parts of the game.

No, not that. I remember a scene about her permanently removing her shoulder pads or something like that, something about the weight of the armor

Once Aura likes heels enough she gets a passive that makes her armor in Roya have heels. It does technically have a visual impact, but you need to really be paying attention to be able to notice it because it just shifts her standing art's sprite up a little. Other than that the only mentions of armor I can remember are scenes with John. I've been playing the game since it had the dev's temporary art and (besides the Trademond guard flashing scenes and the removed collar variant) haven't ever seen Aura's armor visually modified.
Increase your HP, defense, and/or magical defense. If you have your slime summon a high enough level, it can also use protect to draw aggro. You can also break your collar on any fight hard enough to justify it. (Bosses and sub bosses) How difficult are you playing on?
Do you perhaps have Offensive Stance turned on if you're taking that much damage?
if this is the cave in the lair in the Southern forest then you could attack this bandits from behind. It could give you enough time to get rid of some enemies. If you are on Normal difficulty or lower - check your current stance. As for stats - you could increase in Workshop either Defense or Attack. The latter helps because you wouldn't be hit by enemy that you already killed (in most cases). Also getting Tactical Advantage could help because Aura maybe wouldn't get hit by physical attack although it's based on luck.
If you are on Nightmare mode then you are very brave. In this case you would need a lot more experience in what skills do what and how they could be used in combats. Maybe it's better even not fight bandits at all except Barry and Darry or possibly Bandit Leader. You could sneak through their lair without fighting

Defence is only for the one in the southern city, not Trademond. Trademond is only attack and a small increase in HP that just isn't worth it.
It was hard to understand but I think I did it. You could actually increase Defence in Workshop in Trademond by infusing materials. There are several to increase DEF so it's possible.
