Ah right, I forgot about that. I never remember that coating, because I think you only get 1 for free and it's one of the more expensive coatings to make
For some reason it's not even on the wiki. It's not expensive to make, though, IIRC. I think it's a one-ingredient mixture, probably Slimy Fluids. Lightning Jam and Anti-Dark coating are expensive ones in terms of ingredients. It does require getting the Workshop upgraded to level 8, but that's not too extreme. Beyond that, you don't need that many of them, you're just using them in Mount Firestorm. They can be helpful against some enemies in the Clockwork Forest, too. You can probably just use the one you pick up plus buying the Alchemist's initial stock of them.

SO I have played a bit into the game

I not finding any options to push Aura to do shady stuff, or evil/shrew aligned actions (even if unintentionally) . Especially since I tried to keep her corruption high. Are there any options like this, or do I have to wait later in the game with more mind upgrades ?.

I just like corruption where she starts doing evil stuff thinking its for justice. You know that twisted Justice trope? Twisted is great affinity with corruption :3

It follows the tropes of a porn subgenre bit too closely there yeah. The whole "if you are going to show the fall of a great woman, gotta make sure she falls for the absolutely most pathetic person" subgenre of porn.

Note that the talk can be read a bit differently though as it's between Alicia and Aura.
Well considering Aura is the main MC, the one we really play as. I didnt think it would follow this cliché path. It make a bit more sense if we were playing as Richard. Then we do sorta play as Alice. But Aura is pretty much the focus. so maybe I guess.

I also got to the part of the game in the Demon vault guest under the mines. Aura just devoured a demon If I didnt read on the endings already, that be a huge flag for what Aura could become. Could of been something darker with her. But Knowing theres not an ending with that, but the dev put that in anyway ? it being meaningless has me kinda confused. They call that a red herring right ? Its just a nothing.

No. It's not ambiguous at all. It's just stupid. She never stops to consider the question of "what happens if I fail?"... and what happened is that a lot more people suffered and died because she rushed into that trap. If she'd been more cautious and if she'd taken steps to break the trap without tripping it and so on, sure, more people would have died in the immediate battle, but many more lives would have been saved in the long-run.

Given that Richard was summoned with her, in a sense, by the Goddess, during the whole set-up in the prologue, it was rather obvious that she couldn't win under those circumstances. Her arrogance made her think that she could... but she ultimately just made things worse for herself in particular and the world in general. There's a rather long list of suffering that can be tracked back to that monumentally bad decision
Thats the one thing that kinda annoyed me about Aura. ngl. She had been given Star Knightess.. for what? like an hour or 2 ? Then she waltzes in like shes invincible. She doesnt know the limts, the weaknesses, the short comings. How powerful the demon lord realy is ? You got to take your class to the training ground and get a feel for what you can do an such. Even if shes had matial training (like real life karate ) You still got to work out the power of the class and how to apply it.

Ive just come to the conclusion thats one of her flaws of being arrogant. Something we can work with later in her corruption :3

Nah, I just checked in game. It's a 2 ingredient coating. One is Ether, which is whatever, though it needs 3 pieces of it... which... ouch... The other is Jelly Jam... which, ugh... bigger ouch given that this one's pretty rare, the best repeatable M.Atack booster in the game, and also needed for Lightning Jam coating. It's also 470 gold at base price, making it the priciest weapon type coating in the game. Poison is 420 and Nasty Oil is 120. That said, it's obviously still cheap compared to the Anti-Dark Coating... though that's not surprising considering how stupid useful that particular coating is...

As for the wiki... The wiki doesn't mention a LOT of things. It doesn't even have a proper entry for the Clockwork Forest quest.

Also, the less said about the walkthroughs, the better. They're horribly outdated and trying to follow them identically will not work because of changed HP costs for stuff like harvesting and all sorts of other balance changes. Still useful for navigation purposes for the most part though. At least when it comes to most of the Demon Generals.

You don't have much of that early on. But later, you have lewd and not so lewd choices involving twisted things that Aura can do to further her goals "because it's ok as long as it helps kill the Demon King" or the like.

How much that falls under what you're looking for, I can't say. You might enjoy a particular late game quest called "Justice of Pride".

That said, yes, you do need to get deeper into the mental changes for that to be available. In particular, you need to unlock Vice, which is a corruption stat that allows Aura to do stuff like steal, or throw people under the bus so to speak "for the greater good" and other such things.

Just started playing this game, just wanted to say wow. It's actually a fun game, haven't even got to any H content yet, but it's actually been enjoyable even without it. The characters are actually funny and quite engaging, Aura's dynamic with Alicia in the inner minds world intro really had me engaged.

I'm sure you hear it a lot, but great stuff aura-dev

I also played the game for the first time recently, before that I waited until there were more CG scenes and I'm really excited. Gameplay, the corruption mechanics, story, CG scenes. Everything fits. The game has now been released as 1.0. Just one question. Will the game be developed further now or will there just be a few fixes and balance updates or will there be additional CG scenes etc.? The game still offers so much potential for more content.

There will be more CG. For example in the next release we have new clothes for IRL Aura. I don't know if other things will be added, Aura-dev will probably answer you :) He is working on a 1.1 and in one year (or more) it will be a 2.0 I think.

Anyway to remove addicted trait. Just had Aura pretend to be a maid, then she drank a drink and yeah. It would go away after some time right ? I just want to check ? Long as she doesnt indulge more in it ?

That is correct. Sadly due to how drugs work, it is highly addicting so it lasts a bit long. Not that long, but you know.

Dev has said there will be more ending variants. I don't think they've said anything specific on that front though

From their patreon, dev has talked about adding some Roya bad ends. The first one is a Festival of Greed Bad End, another probably has to do with Roland, and another having to do with the Maid Academy.

Ah damn.

I guess it makes sense considering there is quite a few people who probably want more early bad end for some early smut. The game very much has a "if you really want the smut Roya can be frustrating and if you want Roya real world is empty" issue, and I guess it makes sense to focus on the smut parts given they probably demand orders of magnitude less work.

It's just that none of those three choices seems interesting to me, unless "has to do with Maid Academy" is codeword for deep Alicia lore stuff.

Okay, here's an actual mechanical question for anyone who might know. What's the actual effect of dispelling the negative energy nodes in demonic domains? I'm not asking about Belphegor, that one is obvious. I'm asking about Lillim, Aamon, Kerberos, Elegos, Astaroth, etc. etc.

I'm assuming they do something to power up the demon's core, but I tend to dispel them all with Light without doing any testing before fighting the bosses. Does it give them Stats Boosted status if you don't dispel them before fighting them?
