I'm pretty sure you can skip that fight if you have fire II. There are also a couple of jelly jam coatings you can loot that give you resist to lightning. I've not tried it, but rock armor might also work if you had the air slime use air bubble.
What? Oh right this boss was the furthest I could get without Fire II but than decided to wait for it anyway as I'm getting tight with corruption. Didn't think to check if Fire II opens another way, guess those stairs and boss guard baited me.
As was just covered a few posts ago, the max lewdness and purity run guides were out of date and got deleted due to inactivity.
The dev is splitting development time between two games, and it sounded a like June was up in the air as to whether it would be used to work on the other game, or if that would need to be pushed back. If it gets pushed back then all the 1.1 content was predicted to take three dev cycles to finish, so it'd be done at the end of June. If not it'd probably be out at the end of July. At one point he mentioned doing beta test releases of the content, but I've not seen anything come of it.
The core game is complete. However, the game is still being worked on at a slower rate. The focus is now on adding additional side content and improving existing content.

Yeah, I think there's actually 6 (7 if you count the inefficient blue sugar) formula's. Besides the blue sugar, you can buy one from one from the merchant in Mountainreach (you need to get it before ending the time loop or she's dead), one from Formula Peddler in Trademond (the guy with the doll girlfriend), and i think you can find either 2 or 3 hidden in the catacombs during the Lord of Phantoms quest.
