Well, if she wasn't in jail when you started the farm quest, there's probably some other reason she wasn't present, but it's kinda hard to say just based off of your descriptions.

Considering what you guys told me regarding the 'jail', she was never in one because we had a drink together. Also, she was and still is available in mines with others each day. It's probably something to do with me taking on quests in wrong order and earlier than I should have.
Edit: It was easy solo with auto tailwind anyway so all good.

Hey guys I have a question about the Mutated Hydrangea.
I'm trying to get my willpower down to zero using it but after it uses about 11 spells it just attacks for the next 100+ Turns. Does it have MP that it runs out of or am I just really unlucky?

It has 300 MP. I don't know how much its spells use up, but I'd guess that it's just the way the AI behavior is set up, rather than it running out of MP. Not that the difference really matters.
Sitting here trying to get to 0 Willpower and it has attacked 300 turns in a row without using its move to lower willpower. It is making my willpower lower irl at this point
I can only get it down to about 40 to 30 at most before it stops using Mind Pollination
Well, in case you're trying to follow a lewd guide or something, those are AFAIK pretty badly out of date. Maybe something was changed.

I don't think it needs to hit zero for the scene to trigger. Your willpower just needs to be low enough to fail the check.
There was a decrease in maximum mana value for Hydrangeas to help people who really tried to defeat them. And that's why they couldn't cast as many spells now
Start a new save, then make saves into the slots that you intend to replace -- in this case, just for slot 1. Then replace your recently created save with the new save.
It should work without problem.
