It's a renpy game, so the author has to go out of their way to lock it, along with a bunch of other ease of life features -.-

Edit: So after thoroughly playing it I cant say I'm not disappointed to be honest I think the game is ok but it could be so much better even with the few number of scenes it has right now. However, the game is in its early stages and I hope to see improvements such as sound effects background music more dynamic choices etc. Additionally I believe integrating the current scenes into a mod for the actual game rather than a renpy vn would be amazing. Another route would be RPGM which is still a great choice if its done right though a lot of people shit on it because of its graphics shitty mtl translations and repetitive gameplay.
