I'm starting to feel like my family is weird, reading all these comments. My siblings and I all refer to each other as "Brother" "Bro" or "Sis" unless we are talking to someone else and need to specify which sibling we're referring to. I have over 30 first cousins just on my mom's side, and we all call each other "Cousin" or "Cuz", again, unless we need to specify, partially because I can't honestly remember all their names all the time. Same rules apply for my mom's 7 sisters; I call them all "Aunt" or "Auntie" and only add their names if talking to someone else. They will be referred to by their names and nickname most of the time. The poll has more to do with intimate scenes (sexual stuff) and occasionally in dialog like in the initial release. This is an incest game it would make no sense to not mention relations at all.
Really enjoyed the initial release, but I was surprised that, after saying we'd always have a choice with LIs, we don't get a choice regarding Luna. She's beautiful, but her personality is really not to my taste, so I'd have rather had an option to either not ask her out to the club, or at the very least not go into her apartment with her.You will always have a choice in who you want to pursue for the harem. Thanks for the good wishes!
Thanks for the feed back, and yes in this instance you didn't have a choice. I had to set it up like that for the next update. From this point forward you'll have a choice. Also, just because you had a one night stand with her doesn't mean you have to pursue her!Really enjoyed the initial release, but I was surprised that, after saying we'd always have a choice with LIs, we don't get a choice regarding Luna. Also, the English is quite well done, but there was a lot of "your" when it should be "you're" throughout, as well as some mixed up "then/than". Those common mistakes aside, the English was probably better than 90% of VNs on this site.
Looking forward to the next release, keep up the great work!
I understand where you're coming from, just be aware that harem fans are really big on player agency. Forced sex, even just as a one-night stand, tends to leave a sour taste. I assume that you didn't give the choice because the next update will start with MC in Luna's apartment in the morning. If that's the case, I think you could have still put in a choice to avoid her, and use a the classic "black screen" trick that lots of harem games use when players choose to avoid content. Thanks for the feed back, and yes in this instance you didn't have a choice. I agree 100% with this. Player agency is key.I understand where you're coming from, just be aware that harem fans are really big on player agency. Make a choice before MC asks out Luna that sets a variable, like "lunaclub" to true or false. If the player chooses the "false" choice, just skip over the lines where he asks her out. Later, when it's time to go out with Luna, check the variable, and if it's false, just put up a black screen that says "Since [mc] doesn't have any plans for the night, he decides to turn in early.", then jump to end of update screen. At the start of the next update, put in another check for the "lunaclub" variable, and if it's false, just use another black screen and say something like "Morning comes, and [mc] gets up, puts on his suit, and heads to (whatever the next scene is)", then jump to the next scene after the morning scene with Luna.
That way you give the players agency, and all it costs is a few lines of code and no new renders. Every choice doesn't require an alternate path or alternate content; lots of harem games just use narrative time skips like that when players choose to avoid content. Some devs even make it kinda funny, showing their contempt for players refusing their girls. One game I played literally just had the MC stare at paint drying on a wall for several hours if we didn't choose to go on a date with a girl.
