Unity - Starmaker Story [v1.5c] [Arvus Games]

I was pretty hesitant going into a 6 month old game that relies almost entirely on AI art but man, this game is a homerun.
The art style, backgrounds, character designs, everything is just fantastic. I appreciate that you can go a lot of routes between solo, sharing or straight up stealing girls from other characters. It also has a shocking amount of content for only being 6 months old, but I guess that's where the AI becomes super handy.

Only reasons I wouldn't give it 5 out of 5. Sometimes navigating is a nightmare. Way too many button clicks to just move one room over especially if you misclick. The save system also kind of sucks. It consists of super fast autosaves in a single save slot, so if you make a mistake, you can't go back, you're now locked in for that playthrough to whatever you decided, and that caused me to miss out on certain paths or at one point a specific girl entirely. Also, I personally love the Futa girl at the gym, but maybe make her optional as you need to spend a bit of time with her to continue Amelia's story I believe and that will likely upset those with inferior taste.

Top notch 2d pixel art, amazing writing, a slow and steady buildup that leads to such an explosive finish, and lots of girls to "romance" and fuck. This game is very fun, the visuals are gorgeous, the paths you can choose allow for a wide range of player expression, this is just one of the top incest games out with a fantastic develloper that you can support right now.

TLDR: Great art, gameplay that is paced well for a porn game and just a fun simple game.

Top 5 porn games for me. One of the only porn games I was happy to play through multiple times to see how different some progressions were or to see what I missed.

It has great storytelling, many features, and fun minigames.
For pixel art enthusiasts, I would highly recommend it.
it has a medium amount of characters but they are well-written and have a charm to them.
A big detail to the game is that there is futa and trap content but unlike other games where you choose in the beginning what you want to see the game lets you choose with your actions what path to take. I was a bit uneasy about that but after figuring out that I don't need to finish trap/futa content to progress further in the game I was at ease.
Additionally, there are options for sharing content that you can easily avoid. Giving it 5/5

PROS:
-Touches on a rare kink seen on this platform (sharing).
- Everyone's hot. Everyone.
- If you're into MILFs, you'll like this
- Art is fantastic (there is AI art but as far as I understand, it's used minimally)
- Story is very human and believable (family is short on cash, maternal figure opens her mind to other ways of getting money in the modern age of social media, but also doesn't just immediately want to jump on your dick)
- The grind (the mapping of progression but not so much the pace of it. More on this later)

CONS:
- Transitions. Omfg the transitions going from place to place
- Some NPCs get more love than others IMO.
- Navigation is somewhat clunky. Meaning you'll learn where everything is by heart, from all the times you thought you were going to the garage instead of the entrance (you'll know what I mean).
- If you're not into sharing, the game kind of throws it in your face... In a tactful way IMO.

Conclusion: I need more of this.
Perfect the grind, snappier transitions, keep the believability of characters and their arcs, as they slowly become MC's loyal dick jumpers.

This game is obnoxiously close to getting a perfect score for me. The art is incredible and the choice to make the backgrounds using gen-AI is a good strategy to keep art costs down. The story is solid, the H-value is some of the best I've ever seen in an H-game. I personally think the game over-focuses on "sharing" and you lose a lot of content by shutting those doors, but that's just me.

My biggest issue is just how darn difficult it is to get to certain endings or to get through certain storylines. Navigation's not the smoothest (it's a map-less connected node system with fadeout and fade-in transitions that take waaaay too long) and dialogue skipping is slow and plagued with slow transitions. The hint system is bare-bones, to the point where I have no idea where the content actually ends and what I haven't found because I haven't chanced into it.

Cut down on the transitions, make the navigation snappier, round out the hint system and this would easily be a 10/10 GOAT HoF game for me.

TLDR: It's a good game, but it's a grind. Which makes replaying it not so great.

I previously gave it 5 stars. But I'm making it 4 star. The grind is just too much. I can't manually save, so if I make a mistake (or want to pick a different route). I have to grind again for in game cash. It just takes way too much effort to play. I don't want to do it. I think it's a waste of time.

During my recent play through I also missed the oppertunity to drop by the bad guys house. I was grinding out cash and later realized I couldn't go to his house. That's like missing 1/10 of the entire game. So I sort of continued playing for a bit and then just stopped.

Idk, is it good, is it bad. If you open up a sharing route all the weird stuff happens. Like you touch dicks with another guy and your mom tries to feed your cum to your dad. It's just nah.. I mean if that's what you like, that's all you. But that was not it for me.

One of the best games I have played, getting the right balance between lewd scenes and Visual Novel progrssion.

Could use a better travel system though. The pauses between travel, dialoge and selection of dialoge are too long.

This is properly one of the excellent and fun game that I enjoy in years, and the sharing route of this game have a lot of content.
The AI tag is there, but the quality is too good to say that I mind them using AI. The sandbox is sometimes annoying because it makes no sense in some sense, which requires grinding by repeating the same dialogue, but it's not that grind to the point that I feel it's too bad. So, overall, it's a really good game with really good art, and the story is kind of fun.
But I give it 4 because Unity and the save system are kind of problematic when there are so many routes and outcomes. The best thing you can do is back up JSON files and categorize them yourself for now until Dev makes a proper save system.

I was excited for this game because of the high reviews and fantastic graphics. However, it is just another terrible sandbox VN with a pretty coat of paint.

This game commits every sin that the generic porn sanbox VN's make. A million menus to click through, boring unskippable minigames and an annoying grind to deal with. Your grand reward for putting up with all of this is just a couple of pictures barely enough to even call a "scene."

The characters are super boring as well. No personality, the conversations are pretty much 1-2 sentences long and the dialogue is stilted and weird. This is not a game you play for the narrative or relationship building.

On top of this, the game being made in Unity means it lacks a lot of Ren'Py features that the dev never bothered to implement. The UI lacks functionality, skipping dialogue often leads to accidental choice skips and there is no rollback (as far as I could tell).

So why would you play this game? It looks fantastic, and while the characters might be cardboard cutouts personality-wise, they are all visually unique (as long as you like big tits) and they all are super attractive.

In the end, this game is more sandbox AVN slop. It is very pretty slop though. That why it gets a 2 star rather than a 1.

I just completed one of the endings for this game and holy shit this game was so good. There are so many paths you can go and the freedom, this game is so immersive. I loved the characters and the story was outstanding, I've been playing games on this website for a couple years now and this game might be in my top 5 or even top 3!

Definitely their best game so far! Love the multiple routes. My only grudge is that i wish the save system was better. I would like to be able to try out more routes without having to restart the game completely.

Very good, nothing major to complain about, perhaps wish the routing was better outlined on what choices give you what options/outcomes, this will just get better with time as the dev adds more content.

lovely story, lovely pixel art but every female character feels same with same body type a little more variation would be nice, overall its a solid fun game and its getting more and more story update even though the main story can be ended

Starmaker Story is an unity based game created by Arvus Games compiled with pixelated art made by artificial intelligence. As the oldest son of a rich couple with recent financial problems, you must now help your family to deal with the pressure of the newfound situation. The protagonist's mother thinks about creating an internet subscription profile based on real life platforms where she can make money while the young protagonist uses his abilities to take more and more daring pictures. While improving the popularity of his mother’s profile, the player gets access to many new places where he can find new characters and buy products to improve his source of money. The game has light tones of a dating simulator and point-and-click adventure, where you have to explore different places at different times, and talk to many people while doing some very simple minigames or just managing your revenue. Despite its very straightforward gameplay and mechanics, Starmaker is very fun with many different little stories and romances to investigate. Some with deeper meanings, others more superficial, but they all complex in its path to resolution, so much that a guide may be useful, especially considering the many branches it can have. The big objective is the protagonist’s mother, with the opportunity to unlock many pictures and costumes to improve her profile. The art has some recognizable artificial intelligence brushes, but the developer made sure to polish it to near perfection. Without the disclaimer it is very hard to discover it was created by machine. Besides the beautiful models, the game also showers you with great aesthetics inspired by eighties synthwave, also providing ambience music to follow up its main theme. The problems presented are few but a bit obnoxious in present v1.2b. Some lack of refinement in the code resulted in bugs like overlapping interactions or one not properly finished minigame with the governor. Nothing serious or damaging but ugly nonetheless, especially with the talking animations. The biggest problem is the slow dialog box and the consequent excessive clicking. When a game has so much dialog, and a dialog that you will see multiple times because it changes along the romance level, the developer is obliged to create an option for faster and instant text speed. Absent here, it becomes quite an annoyance after some hours. I believe Arvus Games is competent, as demonstrated by not forcing horrible deadlines into the player like so many games, and giving an escape from an obnoxious weekly demand with the father' safe. In conclusion, while Starmaker has some flaws and needs polishing, it remains a solid game that I would recommend.

A little bit of jank, but good for a visual novel type game. Some mini-games make it more interactive, but aren't much of a challenge. Lots of options for various romances with different characters, but a lot of them share the same body type.

You guys have hit the jackpot. The ai art is very well made, although not perfect. The kinks are perfect. I find the mom corruption beautifully done, until she told us joanne isnt real and she was doing all this because she wanted to, which ruined all the corruption fun for me. You guys MUST retcon that and add joanne as a real character. Now onto the main thing I liked about this game, the aesthetic and music. Im absolutely hypnotised by the retrowave aesthetics, the aesthetics are so pretty to look at, and the music is just so good I could listen to it for hours. It perfectly complements the entire theme of this game. Its a shame you guys didnt give out their names. The only flaws here is that it feels incomplete. So you guys should make this your main project and expand on this ALOT more. I doubt your other games are this good. Now I dont know how to describe this one but I love the voyeur aspect of this game that's going on, like you can talk dirty or grope some of the girls and they would either dig with it or shrug it off after some anger or annoyance, probably because they are either huge sluts or its just that some mild sexual harassment is considered normal by society. I just love that kinda shit. I hope the future cgs are also good like the last ones, because its done by ai so I cant expect there to be too much variety, and because this games needs alot more cgs to compensate for the lack of animation.

This game is pretty good if you are looking for this game's tags. It is pretty surprising how othe games of this genres' cant offer same diversity of paths. I mean, you want to share your mom with the family? yes you can. You want to keep her just for yourself? then so be it. You want to corrupt her, romance her, share her... Thats the only game i can play so much diverse paths in adult games.
The only cons i can say is transitions are too slow compare to renpy games.
I would want developer add more pregnancy content to the game. Unfortunateley there is only one character we can impregnate and she is not mc's mom.
