the quest log is bug right now so if you did everything then that's it. it is just that it won't update on the log so it stays there
somebody had shared on the itch io the updated version, it got removed, was it a leak? they said it was from the patreon but there doesnt seem to be an update there
I saw the same thing on another developers itch io page comments they didn't have a patreon like it linked too and when checking the users recent comments they had spammed it on a bunch of pages. 100% a virus

Never download anything from their itch page unless it's the download in the official section before the comments section. All the 'new version' links in the comments sections are virus/scams. I've seen so many pop up and people keep clicking on them.
Maybe after the content is finished or if they make a new game in a similar style
The pixel art filter makes it look less generic than most other AI art, good character body proportions, good poses, not many if any issues with the body parts/fingers etc
I see your point, I don't think I want to say it's a "good use", I think it's "putting more effort" at least, the art is pretty "good", as expected from AI
