You can't, save system changed, there's no way to convert the old ones to the new version. They've been warning about this.

EDIT: If after the first scan you end up with more that one result just spend money or work agan and rescan.
Just a reminder for Cheat Engine: (i am also typing here cheatengine in one word to help forum users looking for this post)
As soon as you start a new game when the computer opens up for the first time you have 200 dollars so:
1 In cheat engine set scan tipe "exact value", value type "double" and scan for 200
2 take the first picture of Anna and sleep for the first time
3 the next day you will earn 50 so set on cheat engine Scan type: "increased value by" and check the box "Compare to the first scan, put 50 and click "Next scan".
4 you will have only one value of 250 in the record list, just double click it and change it to 9000000 you will have enough for the all game.
The same criteriacan be used to change other critical values like Followers Subscribers and Fan or Fans that are a requirement for other quests.
WARNING: Don't touch your subscribers number before unlocking the cock scene in the basement, you are not supposed to gather that number of subscribers naturally in the game and forcing this value can brak your game. I don't remember exactly but i suppose it is 2.500 subscribers

In version 1.7 the save files use a different format, and in 1.8 it’s another one. What are we supposed to do start over again?

Funny how people are upset about something that was known for 6 months, he lists what he will add/remake etc to his game and people are like "why is he going back and fixing stuff he's unhappy about?!?!!!?!" "stop taking my money I can't help but give you money for a free game!!!"
