I never said there wasn't. I wouldn't know though because I don't play harem games, only ntr/swinging/fmc+cheating games. That's why I said it is unfortunate.

The phone/text format is a simple, yet effective plot/setting device that is perfect for mood, tension/angst building for those genres/fantasies.
Yet, so many seem to fail at using it effectively.
This one is off to a really great start, and this dev is playing this phone fantasy like Chopin played the piano...
What sexual fantasy genre do you think the phone/text format would be better suited for if not swinging/cuckold/sharing/netorase or cheating?
Vanilla phone sex between a faithful couple?

So, if the husband (MC) is ALWAYS getting into "it", every single time, that says a lot about the reader making the choices...

My point being, there isn't a whole lot of originality anywhere. You might find original if you filter the latest updates on weight ranking and look over the first page.
This game is awesome! Very good story, love her girlfriend, wish we could see things that they wouldn't talk in the chat and then the husband would send message to the wife that will ignore him and then to the girlfriend and her teasing and gaslighting him about what happens and he can't say he can see everything that is happening!!!!!

The dev indicated this is more netorase/sharing.
Which I prefer... There's nothing wrong with keeping this one "simple".
There are a bunch of other "cheating" phone stories... There's only a few really good "sharing" ones, this is one of the best of them.
However...
The possibility to develop a "cheating" and/or cuckold path is there. And there could be so many variations of how it's done...
So far, the "corrupting" choices in the wife's conversations, all point toward "sharing" or consensual cuckold/hotwife.
It would sort of betray the wife's character a bit to actually go all the way cheat if the husband isn't "into it" (not admitting to Vika and picking all "safe" options with the wife's choices)...
But if the husband has admitted to Vika that he's "into it" (while picking all the "conservative" choices with the wife), that could be a really, really good cuckold type path to explore that would be a "cheating" fantasy...
Vika could be the one teasing, gaslighting, sending photos, videos, etc. while the wife ignores or plays "innocent", all the while the wife "knows" because Vika told her the husband is into it... He's just in denial and doesn't want to admit it to the wife...
Any way, this is a great story so far. No reason to over complicate it...
But I do agree, this one has soooo many possibilities, many variations on how the different paths could play out...

You need to get a force rotation app, worked for me, I played on portrait modeLots more content and story development- the rework on the earlier chapters sets the scene much better, and you get to see much more of the very hot wife.
I can't work out how to get to the main menu on Android for saves, and it is very fiddly playing a portrait-aligned game in landscape on a phone screen

There is no "no sharing" path, yet...
There's the Patrick is fully on board path.
And then there's the Patrick is resisting, not ready to admit to his fantasies path.
Vika is pushing Julia either way...
He who is silent is given to consent...
At worst, Patrick is written as passively sharing his wife, for now.
He did not object/stop the card game nor did he get mad over the kiss, "it's the rules".
So, there's no non-consensual cuckolding either, yet...
So, my earlier comment that this is more sharing stands.
I do understand your perspective though, and would agree, if Patrick had been written differently/objected to the card game...

I enjoyed the update - though I do wish there was a little more variety on the question inputs - like redoubt said above, mc's pretty much along for the ride at this point.
In a different universe, I can see him telling Vika how unfortunate it would be if her husband canceled her visa after learning about fuckbuddy #23 therefore giving some defensive leverage.
Showing vanilla or harem games is clunky over a texting format, because in-person things are difficult to narrate. Why would you be describing it or having it described to you if you were there?
Alternatively, if the husband wasn't in to it, then why would they even be talking and texting and communicating? That sounds more like you're describing an estranged relationship - and in that situation they wouldn't text each other at all; which is why you often see devices like spy cams in these cheating games instead of texting.

It's a different feeling, build up not actually seeing the kiss, yet, compared to other similar stories.
So, maybe, Vika (or Julia) sends the actual 1st kiss render to Patrick in the next update.
With Markus in the living room, I could see Vika (or Julia) teasing Patrick with that photo and whether she sends it to him or not... That would certainly add some tension, angst to what is, will, or could be happening.
There's no camera in the bedrooms. So, how badly does Patrick want to know what's really going on...
There's also a part of me, that thinks not showing the kiss is part of the "game", the tease, and both Vika and Julia are just messing with Patrick. Because that's my "thing". The idea of it is arousing, appealing, but wouldn't actually want to do it for real... It would be interesting to see a story, VN nail that fantasy perfectly...

I personally wouldnt want the story to go that way of [messing with Patrick] because ironically thatd be far more of an ntr slant where they're just messing with him - we expect when Julia talks to the player she's telling it straight.
Imo, the phone format is great for netorase, but rather constraining for actual NTR, especially if the dev insists on keeping it strictly male MC POV. For NTS, MC can be all into it. For NTR, if the player can only see what MC sees on his phone, there is only a few paths you can go.
1. MC is actually a pathetic cuck that is in denial.
2. MC is a pathetic loser that can't or won't act despite knowing his girl cheating on him.
3. MC is completely retarded and doesn't realize his girl is cheating despite very obvious evidence, because the only way players can see stuff is if he gets pictures/videos of his girl.
And then the distribution method becomes very typical. Slut best friend who sends stuff by "accident." BBC dude who sends him pics and talks shit. Spy app. Some website.
Granted, NTR itself is a very constrained genre in the first place, but without the phone gimmick, it's much easier to write the male MC as being reasonable.
You are right that netorare is constrained. Either the game ends quick if MC finds out or he continues to be a oblivious cuck. Not much options in this genre tbh. So even if it isn't a phone format game, things are pretty much the same. Only the execution varies and that is what people want to see. The outcome is secondary.
I distinction I was making is that in a phone format, it's incredibly hard to make the MC not retarded because the design is so MC POV-centric and the story is all told through the phone text/pics/videos, which the MC is obviously looking at if the player is seeing it.
If it's not a phone game, they can do many things like switch to female POV, or make scenarios that are at least plausible for the MC to remain oblivious.
Oblivious MC by nature tend to be pretty dumb and naive, but it can be written to be not so braindead, but it's that much harder to do it in a phone NTR genre.
And the broader point I was making is that this constraint in making a phone NTR game is why almost all of them have very similar stories, progression, and even individual scenarios.
It's true that adding FMC pov will make things better but also take away the mystery aspect that can be a turn on for some netorare fans. But even in MC only povs, there can be scenarios where MC can be left guessing while testing his confidence. Like his gf walking into a hotel. A meeting or for an affair? Who knows? Such scenarios can keep some netorare fans on the edge of their seat because there is room for imagination to run wild.
Of course its goes without saying that a phone format game comes with limits compared to a normal one.

The whole story doesn't have to go that way. Just one path.
It wouldn't be an NTR slant, because Patrick is already "interested" in the fantasy to some degree based on this new update (even if he told Vika he was just browsing). He just doesn't want to do it for real.
On that path, there's no kiss pic because the kiss didn't actually happen...
Julia is just telling a hot story, creating/teasing the fantasy, without actually doing it.
There are wives that actually do that...
I certainly understand that wouldn't be appealing to people who actually want to see the sharing...
But, that path, where the wife plays into the fantasy by teasing with suggestive photos, saying something happened that really didn't, all while staying faithful, not crossing the line, that'd be a really good path...
