I honestly feel like the power being out is a weird choice for this update. Even weirder if it keeps going. The unique part of this game was the camera system.

I am guessing the dev wanted to portray the standard NTR experience of the MC not completely knowing what's going on (even if you select to keep the camera going, you don't explicitly see any action), though the sounds are more than enough to infer what's going on, so they kinda failed on that front as well? Weird...

Yeah the routes are pretty much the same with only small variations. I also don't understand the difference between sharing and cuck routes when they should be the same.

I was trying to find a justification for the inclusion of the stormy weather and power outage (that disabled the cameras - the one unique aspect of this game belonging to the now-boring PhoneNTR sub-genre).

It could also be the dev needed a reason for Julia to suggest that Marcus stay the night at her place.

I think the latter is most likely - it's a plot device to keep them together for the night.....somewhat contrived, but not the worst I've seen.
