Why is the MC written to be an asshole? He doesn't seem to want to have fun and spends more time working than he does with his wife, it's like he's trying to push her away by being a jerk, even when I'm trying to do the NTS route so I'm doing love and lust choices Matthew still comes across as a cunt, tells Ashley to delete a hot pic of them from years ago because "he's not that guy anymore". How are you supposed to like this guy at all?

It feels like the default for the game is to push Ashley away and have her cheat because even doing the nice stuff Matthew always ends up fucking things up like missing anniversaries. And so far I'm not seeing anything about Matt wanting Ashley to do naughty stuff with other guys, granted I'm not at the end of the update yet but he hasn't even thought it yet. But you definitely have done a brilliant job if him being an indifferent jerk is how you wanted to write him
