Thank you for your feedback. Just because you disagree with me doesn't make me incapable of communicating with people. And the fact that I use sarcasm and someone may not like it is a price I am able to accept, for the lack of this game on everyone's computers.

As for linearity, I have already spoken a thousand times, so I will not repeat my answer, and let me continue to create the game, which should dispel your doubts.

Finally, as for the mini-game you clung to - there are a total of 3 activities that allow you to earn money without forcing you to do the one you don't like (except for the fact that the money is quite ridiculous, as you can mostly not do these jobs at all and have enough for everything, as well as for Wyatt).

Meanwhile, have a good Sunday my friend.
Easy solution Fooxied, some people are just to lazy and/or dumb to complete a mini game. Do like Atagenia and add a skip or automatic I win button for the mini game. That way lazy... or mentally challenged people can get by that section and regular people can enjoy the mini game as intended.

That's one point of view...

Counterpoint...
My "issue" with the dancing mini-game is I'm missing "the show" having to chase arrows popping up randomly on the screen.
They're very distracting from the "content"...:ROFLMAO:
So, I have to play the "game" twice, every single time, because watching Riley dance 1, or for the 1,797th time just isn't enough... 1,798, 1,799...:LOL:

The mini-game itself is mildly challenging, and in terms of a skill based reward system, is reasonable for the "average" person, which basically means nearly half the "population" is going to "struggle" with it...
So, I do understand why some may seriously dislike it from a "skills" perspective.
Who wants to "lose" in a porn game?...

As an "older" person advancing in age with deteriorating reaction time, I'm not quite as quick as I once was.
I can't get past Soda Popinski in Mike Tyson's Punchout when I could make it through the game with no damage 20+ years ago, and my son kicks my ass in NCAA football when I was once a pvp Tecmo Super Bowl and NCAA football champion in college...lol
My laptop keyboard arrow keys aren't ergonomically friendly either.
If I could use WASD instead of arrows, or click the arrows when they pop up, the game would be "easier".
Maybe there's a way to do that now in game, idk...

Critics of the mini-game, however irrational they may be in their complaining, aren't necessarily "lazy" or "mentally challenged"...
Maybe, just maybe, they'd rather focus on Riley dancing rather than having to "play a game"...idk...:LOL:

Oh, for those not catching on...
Save before the dance or just scroll back to replay... If you scroll back, the same pattern repeats...cough, cough...
Yes, it can be "annoying" or "repetitive".
And while I fall on the side of preferring not to have to "play" while Riley is dancing., the game itself, the mechanics, are fine, no complaints.
Would simply much rather focus on Riley shakin' it on the pole though...

That's you and that's definitely a valid point if the mini game is covering up Riley, I'm sure that type of feedback is appreciated. However when I see others on here saying it "takes the human brain 2 seconds to process... blah blah blah" That's mentally challenged. I play/played Atageina which is one of the best written games on here, which has mini battles. The battles are cool but sometimes you just want to get on with the story and the dev was cool enough to give players a SKIP button if you weren't in the mood and just wanted to continue.

No matter how hard one tries, the "average" human eye cannot focus on 2 things at once...
Some combat pilots undergo a lot of training so they can process information coming into both eyes.
But the "average", normal person, isn't trained in such ways.
If someone is watching for the arrows to pop up, trying to determine location and direction, then click the correct button, within a time limit, they certainly aren't watching Riley. It doesn't matter if the arrows are covering her or not...lol
And if you're watching Riley, you're screwing up the arrows because peripheral, non-focused reaction is always, always worse and much less accurate...lol

The "average" human eye blink is 100 milliseconds.
The "average" human reaction time range is 150-300 milliseconds.
This is based on a simple, single factor test, like click when the circle changes color.
Those tests aren't factoring in a "decision" or coordination...

Now, what if there are 4 color possibilities, 4 shape possibilities, and the instructions are click the blue circle...
What do you think the "average" reaction time would be for that test?
What would the error rate be for the "average" person clicking on the right color but wrong shape, and vice versa?
Well, that's how this mini-game is...

And just for reference...
A keen, focused, alert driver averages 1 second to apply the brake after seeing brake lights.
An "average" driver takes 1.5 seconds.
A "tired" driver, 2 seconds...
With the movement and decision factors in this mini-game, it wouldn't shock me if the "average" is closer to 2 seconds than 1 second...

So, while you think someone taking 2 seconds to react in this mini-game means they are "mentally challenged", practical test results would reveal they are probably just tired...

Coincidentally, I'm playing Ataegina now...lol
The battle skip is fine, but there's no "reward" factor.

This game could add a skip and RNG for "reward", but that would kind of defeat the point of the "mini-game"...

It's a sandbox. The people complaining don't like sandboxes, clearly. But they also tend to be the type that don't like linear kinetic novels and want 100 paths which is something I absolutely detest. Not only because it extends game development time by a ton, but also because I usually only care for 1-2 paths, and 1 or 2 characters, and those types of million path games have tons of secondary characters. I am a one and done player, and don't enjoy replaying a game 20 times to try and puzzle out how to enter different paths because nobody in the community even bothered to make a walk-through mod within the game (yes it's a common problem).

In terms of famous sandbox games: One of the worst sandbox elements I experienced was in Fashion Business. That being said the developer of that game added cheats and shortcuts to mitigate the grind. It's still very grindy, but a great game if you ignore the sandbox part. Then Family Venture rates higher than fashion business on the sandbox scale. Much less of a grind and a better cheat system. I've played tons of sandbox games, and RPGM games which usually have even less walkthrough help and you need to read physical guides. Steps of Debauchery is by far the lightest on sandbox, and easiest to follow with quests OF ALL GAMES, i ever played (hundreds and hundreds), with the sandbox tag. So chill the fuck out.

The mini games are fine. They allow you to see extra content, that is their purpose, the money is secondary. The only criticism that seems slightly valid is that the dancing game distract from seeing the extra content. In which case the dev just needs to add a pause between each dance/scene, and the game itself. But as far as being hard? No, the mini games are not difficult at all. Grindy? No they are not grindy. Repetitive? Yes they are repetitive. Welcome to sandbox.

Adding a skip makes no sense for the sake of it, except to evade seeing the extra scenes. If you want money then it would be wiser to add a cheat to the phone/laptop that just gives the player money. Done. Lastly, the dancing mini game is supposed to represent the characters skill level increasing. It would make more sense to do away with the mini game completely if you choose to do a level 1 dance, and have already gained enough XP to be level 1 in dancing through playing the mini game. IE. you play the mini game, become level 1, and now can do a level 1 dance for free (no game) and see the scenes without being distracted or playing a game, and get paid. but a level 2 dance still requires you to do the mini game until you reach level 2. Fooxied this is my suggestion for your game, hope you like.

Slightly related to the mini-game, if ya degenerates get the chance, i'd highly recommend checking out a pachinko parlor in Japan.

Pachinko is kind of a semi "skill" based game gambling game where some of the machines have sexy gal pictures pop up in the background but one must resist being distracted/appreciating the ladies or else you'd lose concentration and screw up the game lol

The whole conversation about the strip mini-game is complete trolling.

I did it with 3 mistakes back when it first came and now without any mistakes - it is that simple and I'm not even good a this kind of stuff.

I suggest we focus our attention to upcoming update and the big one after rather than something that a handicapped 80 year old granny on wheelchair can do blindfolded.

If you don't like it - feel free to leave no one is keeping you play the game at gunpoint.

The funniest thing is people mentioning they can't focus on two things at once... Well, okay, but during the ACTUAL mini-game, when you have to click arrows the dancing is always the same and the bonus images are after the sequence, when you don't have to click anything.

Here, the animation, now you can play the mini-game without being distracted and then chill on bonus renders after the arrows clicking.

You're wasting your time with trolls - the mini-game is fine as it is now (easy enough for everyone to do it) - so just ignore and move on with more important things.

People just need to play instead of wanking during the mini-game and stop trolling.

If they cannot do it than they should quit and go play on the sand and watch PH instead which don't have any mini-games interrupting their wanking.

I never look at bonus content in games. It requires going to some menu right? or using the in game laptop etc. I might look once after 20 hours of playing, like a very quick skim. It's way different than seeing renders in real time.

The point is during the mini game, while having to press arrows, the main character is doing something on screen at the same time. This is a valid criticism. Does it matter to me much personally? No. Because I can see 1000 times hotter renders somewhere else in the game, this is just extra like you said.

My idea for the mini game that I posted above was great. The mini game is basically representing the character gaining skill. You could argue it's her using skill, but that's only if you're stubborn about keeping the game the way it is. But also there is a whole XP bar and its through doing the mini game you gain XP. Either way the idea I suggested takes nothing much away from the sandbox concept and deepens the reasons to play the game because you get somewhat of a reward when you remove the repetitiveness of the mini game.

The idea being that you play the mini game 6-8 times so you can obtain level 1 dancing, and now you can do a level 1 dance without playing the mini game. Then if you want to continue to level up you play the mini game, until you hit level 2, and now you can do a level 2 dance without playing the mini game. etc. Unless you could actually point out a flaw with this idea? rather than just have a counter argument that the "mini game is fine the way it is" then i see no issue with implementing this idea.

If you think about this another way, essentially it's like leaving the mini game exactly the way it is, since you're always playing the mini game to level up. The difference is you add an option to see a level 1 dance from riley (for her to do that level of a dance), and you can just watch without playing the mini game because you already helped riley reach level 1. Basically it's a scenic mode. Nothing really changed.

I just mentioned that you get 'bonus render' during the mini-game, after 'arrows' sequence, so you can just view them without focusing on arrows. Second thing is the levels differ only in the number of clothes on Riley, in which case repeating previous levels is pointless.
