Yeah, I don't care for the husbands or boyfriends in games like this at all and I don't think they work well as anything other than a punching bag for the player.
Fahnenjunker Quite an interesting opinion, so you don't like the game because it contains a sandbox despite the fact that it is emphasized everywhere on the MAIN PAGE + you don't like in it the OPTIONAL possibility to talk to the characters of the game to get to know a bit of their background, and finally you are also racist and insult the Russian community in the end? I guess I will love people who forcefully play games whose genre consists mainly of aspects they really hate
Edit. I forgot about the grind you mentioned, when in SoD there is not even one repeatable event, except the work, which you don't have to do to fully finish the game.

I know people get off to the NTR spice, but this same game, but with a single Riley, would be great. It's not like he's more than an anti-MacGuffin, just getting in the way and making bad decisions that Riley volunteers to take care of for him.

Yep, a single girl in this kind of games will be appreciated by me too.
But i get that seems like lots of people are on cheating ruotes.
Btw in this game I don't feel much Riley is married, she act kinda freely.

I do not hate sandboxes, I just don't like when they are poorly done, or overly complex for no good reasons.
the "russian grind" is a common expression on this forum for extremely grindy games. (whether it is a racist statement or not is up to debate)
On your game, it refers to the important amount of clicks necessary to go from one place to another, or to explore a "map".
Talking to the characters of a game is nice when they actually have something interesting to state, which is not the case here.
Fyi, i never play games that I "hate", I don't have enough gaming time available for that. I only tested your game because I found the renders quite good, and the models used interesting, sadly the gameplay is not my cup of (russian black) tea.

The marriage never felt real to me. It always felt like it was set up to be a poisoned pill/plot device. Was what'shisbutt grooming Riley? Did no family/friends point out it was a bad match? What was Riley supposed to have seen in him (I really can't remember his name)? And what kind of guy who's business is struggling shuts down for 2 of 7 days for...errands? Like, that's sus as hell, or stupid beyond reason. Especially a bar. And if you are going to be shut down two days, have them be consecutive, what is it, Mondays and Thursdays? Horrible plan.

Like he said - he is a man of principles. And his solid principles are: in case of any complex situation - just kill someone around, no matter who and why.
Like, you know, usual stuff. You wanna to buy a cola, and a seller don't have a change from 100$, just kill a random guy around, and nothing else matters. That's what men of principles do. And if someone got any arguments or want to call a police or batman - the answer is: black screen, main menu. That simple. So if you don't understand how it works, if you need a logic, if you want actions to have a sence... you just not a man of principles, you know ^_^
For serious, i also expected that big scarry boss would involve that busty sluty walkning porn unit, which MC deffenetly is, into quite another form of paying for debt, instead of just being killed. Maybe after all the town around would touch MC's ass in public and it will lead to nothing after it, somewhere in season 99 that idea would visit the boss' head, unless he is blind or brain damaged by scenario, which can explain why he send for recieving a debt to a porn unit like that his killer but not his porn agent or pimp.

Well, agree. They really did a husband just like a part of MC dress, or like a piece of furniture in her room, nothing more like MC's decoration or something. It actually all about her here. And husband as well. But i must say that the general idea is tricky enough, it makes spicy situations, and i myself can explain it by 64 ways, why he is fine about her behaviour or even secretly motivated in it. Bad that it is a job for my brain and devs did not make that info a part of a story for themselfs. So people without imagination would have troubles answering the question why he don't give a f about MC's acting, dressing, corrupting and degrading that way.

its his fault anyway, hes the one who took out the loan with the secret loan shark and lies too riley about how much debt hes in or how much danger hes put their lives in, so he deserves to be cucked and his punishment should be he gets to watch riley get fucked by other people.
