At the moment he won't do any more long animations, we'll see what he does in the future.
I quote verbatim what he said:
A subscriber asks: "Sorry if this feels like rushing, do you know what your next longer animation is gonna be?".
He (Stopu) answers: " I haven't been working on any of them actually, I have many that I want to do but I can't for now. Those take me too long and that means a couple of weeks without posting on patreon. Plus the only place where I could promote them was twitter, and for a while now they have been hiding my tweets. It already happened with the previous animations, nobody found out about Ryuko's or Ghislaine's, and it also happens with illustrations but those aren't that bad. The difference is that those take me days to finish, but the full animations are more than a month usually, so again, it's not only the lack of new stuff here, but that if those underperform it means that I can't bring new people over. To give you some numbers, the Ryuko animation took me almost 2 months to finish, in that period almost 300 people left, and once I posted the promo on twitter only 25 joined because of it♂ I've started doing those short animations because it's much safer, I can post more frequently for patrons and even if in social media the posts don't do well, it isn't as bad as what a larger projects doing poorly means. I would honestly prefer to just do long animations, that was new year goal for 2024, one monthly or somenthing like that like other people, but it's pretty complicated... ".
