Yeah... it needed a lot of work. I’ve got maybe a month left, two if I'm lucky. It was so painful to work on, knowing I wouldn’t get to finish what I started with the time remaining.
Sacrificed most of my free time back then, but there’s only so much I could do. Working two jobs, seven days a week, just to afford working on the game. And I’d keep going if I could, but I’ve run out of things to sacrifice. I can’t risk being homeless for 40-something euros a month on patreon.
I don’t blame anyone but myself in the end. The game felt mid to me anyways.
This is all I can afford now. Soon, not even that.

I'm confused about why you would stop completely. You don't have to do this full-time. Do it in your off-time, particularly if you enjoy the work. Get a normal job, and then when you get home, spit out a couple of renders a day, and just ... live. If the game takes off, it takes off, but if it doesn't, at least you get to make the game.

I work a fulltime job and just started on my first game. I'm not counting on it to carry me. I just want to tell a story. And your stuff looks good. Don't give up on it because you have to work a normal 9-5.

Forget about how long it will take you. Just make it, even if it takes years. That's what I'll be doing. I won't feel bad if I take time off to play No Rest for the Wicked, or if I have no energy when I get home. I'll just make the game when I have the time. and revel in thinking about it when I'm not.

That's what I've been doing for the last two and a half years. Had to cut scope since then, had to drop previous game due to it being more resource intensive, will have to drop this one as well. I've got nothing else to bargain with. All my options are exhausted at this point.

It's almost certainly over for me. I doubt I'll be able to turn this thing around, I don't believe in miracles. If I could, I'd probably be working on my previous game.

Sorry to hear about your situation, for what it's worth I really like this game, KN or not, and totally love all the girls so far... would have been the makings of a nice, wholesome harem. If you ever are able to work devote more time to this, I'd love to support it!

Sorry for that, the settings dropped in the builder for some reason. I've redone the android builds and uploaded the apk.
