I get you didn't mean it that way, but that sounds so dystopian to me. I don't mean the bubbles or "post truth" aspect, but just the idea people in the future will just consoom personalised 100% derivative stories without any intent and originality behind them. Not even Brave New World gets the banal consumerism that dark.

We are already in the BNW (and somehow with increasingly 1984 thrown in the mix) style society. That is because the average person is becoming increasingly retarded and lacks critical thinking skills, which itself is somewhat of an engineered situation because a stupid populace is more easily exploited.

We didn't need any AI bullshit to get here. People mindlessly consume whatever youtube recommends them. They get feeds based on algorithms. They choose to get bombarded by personalized ads by staying logged in all the time, not using adblocker, etc. They literally choose not to decide for themselves and eat whatever is fed to them. So sure, once AI truly gets integrated into the fabric of society, these people will be even more hopeless, but they are already gone, with or without AI.

But more specifically to AI, people that are still functioning as people can use it for what it is. As a convenient and novel tool that lets them do things easier and faster, or enable them to do things they couldn't even dream of before.

Using LLMs to study is extremely efficient. It cuts down on the time it takes searching for answers to various questions you might have. Of course, you do need a baseline understanding of the topic to spot hallucinations (it's very rare if you use the tool correctly). Before, you might have had to look at some scientific paper or go through some guidelines, or read through textbooks, or let's face it, we go to wiki when lazy lol. But now, you just ask AI Studio Gemini, and they answer your question in seconds. Most of the time it's more than good enough.

It doesn't even have to be about academic or professional tasks. I don't know about y'all, but I've lately been just using the AI Mode on google to ask whatever I'm curious about rather than doing normal searches for most low stakes things that I would have googled before.

As for AI porn stories, It's not about consuming whatever the AI throws at you without any intent or originality. It's about using the LLM as a substitute for a writer to bring into existence ideas and characters that would otherwise only exist in your head. A lot of people have ideas, "Gais, what do you think about a story where a mom goes to bla bla. Feel free to use this idea." Crickets. The idea would die right there for 99.9% of people. But now, we can guide the LLM into writing this story for us, exactly in the style we want, with any level of control over the progression that we desire. Do we let the AI take the premise and run with it? Do we guide the broad story direction? Do we literally tell it what to write on every single output? You can decide.

AI is already here. It's the next big leap. The next paradigm shift. As the internet was. As the TV was. Each of these things, the TV, the internet, were exploited by corporate/capitalistic interests, and that will happen to AI as well. But fundamentally, it's not a unique circumstance. The root of the issue is not whatever new tech comes along, but the fundamental human flaws (greed, selfishness, apathy, complacency) that exists.

If F95 is any indication, it's already happening.

Consider the extensive use of tags, as well as the frequent arguments over them. People get really bent out of shape if they see a tag that doesn't match what they think it means. Ie the people who complained that Toro 7 had a trans tag, but the trans character didn't have a dick. And I frequently see people saying, "I'm not going to waste my time on a game that doesn't have this tag set."

Then there's all the threads where people try to convince the dev to add a particular kink to the game, even if it doesn't make any sense to the story. Some even go so far as make mods to the game that add said kink. Ie the person who made a patch to Mortze's SW game to add incest even though none of the people in the game were in any way related to each other. Ie2 all the threads that go to hell when "the NTR people" show up.

Imagine a form with a bunch of checkboxes and an "Generate" button. All they have to do is check the boxes they want and it makes a story that fits those requirements.

What percentage of the F95 audience wouldn't go for that?

Can be modified on the go (the form can be changed if you change your mind); The game can be modified at any point (if there's a scene you don't like it will roll back and change it); Characters can be modified at any point (if you don't like the way she looks, the AI will fix it); the result of your decisions is always what you'd like it to be and any restrictions on the kind of content that can be produced are effectively eliminated.

I actually agree many zonies are like that, and I've already come out for the view that Hell is often kinda fitting for an F95zone topic. But a lot of the people who do that behaviour have issues, like an inability to relate to other people, inflated sense of the normalness of their own kinks, entitledment, and so on. But I don't think F95zone is a window into the future, because so many users are unusual, and the majority are male. In the real world there's still a bit more common sense.

Cosy Cafe was one of the first games I tried, and I found the writing / story especially unbelievable - it was entirely an ego trip for the main character/user. People who hated him ended up in his harem remarkably quickly, the families of the girls seemed alost excited about them being in the harem if it meant they had a part-time job, and 80% of their personality vanished as soon as they experienced the magic of MC's dick.

I gave it a try. There's a straw feminist less than 10 minutes in, so I doubt jufot would play it beyond that. Then later the MC gropes his teacher vaguely consensually. And he has other douchy traits too.

Safe to say it isn't story-first. There was some slice-of-life romcom material in the early game love triangle if you look beyond the nonsense, but the start of the sexual arcs felt rushed and made me bored about the game before I got to the harem aspects you mentioned. And now I'm kind of curious if the earlier user was actually trying to execute a hit on jufot.

I think that's a lot more involved, and in a limited way more creative, than the idea of telling an AI "tell me story" tho. It's much more like a director who commissions a script at least, or an editor. Anyway, I commented on a specific view of the future, not on AI generally.

I want to add games that I personally think have a good story regardless of the type of the other aspects of AVNs/porn games that people like but having gone through all of the pages on this thread I'll try to respect people's viewpoints by pointing out things that may stop you from playing the game. I'll also try not 2 mention games that have have already been posted on dis thread.

Desire of fate by KKPotato - I think this has already been mentioned, but only once and not as a recommendation. What makes dis gud is dat it isn't genericIt is set in an alternative version of our modern day world with a few key differences:
1. It has slightly advanced tech/sciemtific innovations compared 2 our world.

2. Feudalism still exists in the MC's home country/empire and all of the countries so far are either empires, kingdoms or ruled/divided by different religions.
If u hate harem then I want u 2 be aware if d fact dat d harem in dis game isn't optional in d fact dat u have 2 at least get 4 of the main girls in d game in order 2 prevent getting a gameover. But other than dat and d fact dat at least 1 of d childhood friends may or may not be optional, all of d other side girls are optional. Dis game has sum form of incest with lilith or lily (their names are similar so I can't remember which is which) as well as Maria 1 of dem being fake incest since she is more of a step sister so if u hate fake incest don't play dis game.

The only other con I can think of is that it might get abandoned on sum sites since the dev hasn't updated d game since maybe October 2024. The MC at least doesn't start off as a Gary stu despite having a "titanoboa" (cringe I know/If you know, you know) but he has the potential 2 develop into 1 4 a gud, story related reason. It is also a honey select which I also know the dev doesn't like based on 1 of their recent comments (I think it was about cosy cafe but I can't remember)

Has freeroam in what I think it episode 2 but it should be easy 2 navigate through. Also has anime jokes in episode 1 and maybe the prologue but you'd have 2 be very sensitive they caused u 2 drop the game. I'll also warn u dat it has alot of potential LIs.

There is also a scene where a guy who ends up being like a deutagonist/partner in crime tells his girlfriend 2 blow d MC early on d game. The gane also starts off with a sex scene. I can't remember if dis is optional or not so u may not like dis. Dis guy also has a mini harem which is proof, along with other women dat d MC doesn't end up getting all D girls he sees.

Tales of terrara and the book of tentacles have potential based on their summaries but I don't know about their stories 2 much yet.

Maids and maidens by raybae

I was actually very doubtful about dis game having a good plot when I first read the synopsis. In fact, after playing the game twice, I think the game should have a better synopsis. The only reason y I played it is cuz it mentioned something about commercial machinations in the MC's workplace.

This game has a multi-faceted plot with the corporate setting being the main thing but the corporate isn't boring, well at least not after the main plot starts 2 kick off. I will also admit that it is very easy 4 d MC 2 get with girls. At first, it is seem 2 be as a result of his physical features/appearance but if the dev follows through with his plan, there may be something bigger going on 2 explain the ease of MC's sexual escapades.

This game should be optional harem with optional LIs but the MC is not a virgin despite being single which may or may not be an important thing with certain LIs later. In the middle of the game, the MC was also successfully accused of rape and since the dev wasnt showing 2 much of the MC's past, people were thinking of dropping the game as they didn't want 2 play as a rapist MC. I just want 2 assure ppeople who have a problem with dis dat this subplot was mostly resolved without spoiling 2 much but if u still want 2 avoid d game cuz of dis then just do it .

The MC also has the potential to either be a good or bad guy.

- U can choose 2 invade the personal privacy of ur maid, maria by watching her pour breastmilk into your cereal and choose not 2 tell her ablut it afterwards

- U can choose 2 tell an unknown blackmailing phone phisher that u don't care about Maria's sister's legal issues.

- U can blackmail/coerce maria into sex and choose to literally tell her dat u think nothing of her after she is increasingly aware of your flings with other women.

- U can blackmail/coerce yumi but this may also have unknown negative consequences.

-U can choose 2 join a cult

The game also challenges serious/potential world issues like human trafficking, smuggling and transporting, grooming and sexually coercing girl for being used in prostitution. There might be others as well that I can't remember.

I also think that there are 2 many LIs but there are also a couple of girls that aren't smashable yet/ are slow burn/may not be smashable in the future (1 of them, Sam is a lesbian who gets 2 date a bi girl in the game for now). Furthermore, there is completely avoidable fake incest as well as forced pregnamcies.

The assistant by backhole

Main plot is basically about preventing a mafioso/businessman from illegal getting a church and school closed down for redevelopment behind the scenes. I will be pretty surprised of dis doesn't end up being a harem game.

The MC can be good or bad guy and there is optional blackmail and optional femdom. The game also starts off post sex and 1 of the LIs (grace) isn't optional. Other than that, all of d of d other girls except 4 maybe gwendolynn should be optional. There is also sum stuff that I'm pretty sure shouldn't be legal/is basically porn tropey or corruption-like with d nuns on the bad gut path as well as optional incest if u use the patch ( I didn't know it was actually incest until after I played cuz of the patches absence so I am pretty sure u can play it even if u hate incest).

Move the chains by missfortune
Basically a sports AVN with a MC who went through sum personal stuff. I won't go into 2 much detail but it is setting up 2 be a harem game but all sex except 4 sex b4 the current storyline should be optional although I plated the v0.3 update so I'm not sure if I've fully played the game.

Long road home by dimitri/OBDganes

Basically a game where the MC starts off in prison and if u then get pass the early ending he gets involved in a biker gang war. Only 2 of d girls aren't optional. Has violence but anything that is 2 violent should be skippable without being avoidable unless u get d early ending. I only played dis game up to episode 13/ version 10 part 3 but I've seen sum complaints about d game detracting alot from the story and focusing more on fucking girls in recent updates which I think are true since I just realised that dis game is significantly better on a 1st playthrough.

Crimson high by vertigo

Can't tell if dis would be a harem or not. Don't wanna say 2 much 2 prevent me from spoiling but I think this is significantly better on a first playthrough like long road home. It is presented as a murder mystery game but it isn't 2 violent unless it gets more violent during the middle of v0.3-v0.44

Etlinas principle by piproad
A very original post apocalyptic game with only 1 sex scene so far. It may be very disturbing at the start but if u can get past the opening scenes u should be good.

City devil restart (has potential but it is too early 2 tell/make a verdict on dis 1)

the overarching plot of this one is basically like game of hearts but with more action/less sex scenes. My only problem with dis 1 is dat d current ending v0.3 is shit on d final in game day as the seemingly decent MC lost a couple of braincells.

Survivor strain/somewhere I belong

Basically the same plot as now and then but the game is ongoing, seasonal and the MC is stuck in a different country during the zombie apocalypse. I'm pretty sure the game is optional harem. You can choose 2 commit 2 1 girl and if u do u can probably still choose to cheat on her. Most of the girls also fall 4 d MC a little 2 easily but definitely not all of dem. Season 1 just ended so it has a good chunk of content plus the MC isn't completely a Gary stu as shown towards d end of d last update.

Growing things up by kinkbrr (has potential but is 2 early 2 tell/make a verdict)

It is basically a superpower/cyberpunk themed story starring vigilantes. I honestly don't remember 2 much but d game needs more content b4 making a more informed review. It has fake incest, generic backstory 2 MC like in ataegina and homelander plus I honestly can't tell if it's harem (I only check tags 4 things I don't like.

My real desire: Haven't actually played it but apparently the MC is an emotionlesss zpy sent on a new mission. Can't tell if he's a Gary stu but I think u can change him. Is also harem. Some people hated d harem ending but I can't judge dat either.

Myth of slayer: Basically the porn/adult version of solo leveling but with an original storyline so if u don't like anime u might not like it. It is an optional harem as well. Recently updated and I haven't played the last update. The English is lacking sometimes as well. Has fake incest which is easy 2 come by but every other LI is more slow burn I think.

Stray incubus formerly by flynn: Don't know 2 much about the current development of d game but it has an original storyline. It is a harem game (probably optional) but it makes sense cuz the mc is an incubus and the girls don't actually start 2 immediately fall 4 him until after s1 so d sex doesn't come 2 quickly. I can't really summarise d current storyline or tell where it's going but it definitely has a plot atleast so in my eyes it's a pretty good fantasy game.

Cybernetic seduction by 1thousand

Basically an infiltration game in a virtual reality world. Won't go into 2 much detail. In my eyes, this is kind of a harem game without being a harem game cuz almost all of the girl virtual copies of themselves so unless the dev comes up with some sort of cop-out 2 prove me wrong there shouldn't even be a harem ending assuming that 1 of the other main girls isn't real.

Wasteland guardians

Post apocalyptic and similar 2 desert stalker. Has a lot of violence. I feel like the MC is mature and a Horndog at the same time which I have no problem with it.

Dropout Saga

MC is a gangster. After a mistake he made leads to a death of someone close 2 him he works on 1 final job 4 the gang in order 2 retire but dis involves becoming a headmaster/principal of a prestigious school catered towards the city's elite. It is basically a mini harem right now. Also the prologue us funny asf like basically dark comedy.

Driven by desire: has a slow start with just very well done comedy in the first 2 chapters but between at least chapter 2 and 3 the game starts to pick up the pace even though the slice of life part about the main character's life in the countryside was kind of necessary and somewhat interesting.

I played dis 4 a bit and even though I couldn't really finish it right now I think it has potential. It has a similar premise to the bite revenant but I prefer it for now since it has no grindy sandbox right now.

Champion of realms - haven't played
Basically the MC has to win a competition 2 become the name of the game 2 prevent the world from fucking itself over.

Sort of justice: revenge crime noir thriller game. Has death and is action packed. Only 1 optional sex scene so far so it doesn't focus too much on the sex.

The power of truth: MC basically wants to know more about himself. Dev said ir isn't harem but it seems like the MC attracts alot of girls

Cradle beyond the veil - haven't completed it but it has a similar premise to eternum but u actually get paid 4 entering a simulation instead and it is basically advertised as a choose you own adventure/journey/story simulation. Don't know if its harem like eternum yet.

Time loop hunter - haven't played it but it sounds like an original premise.

The coven - haven't played it yet but from the looks of it, it is similar 2 college daze. MC is 1 of the first ppl in a long time 2 awaken magic and enters a magical school with witches cuz of it.

College daze by G8 games - MC is basically a gary stu with powers who ends up getting involved in a supernatural conspiracy. Harem but most scenes are optional I think. However it is taking forever 4 the mc 2 achieve his OG goal.(HTML)

Power of will by the same dev - I don't know how fat the plot has gone after the latest updates but the MC becomes the leader of his home country after a civil war. Can't tell if it is actually harem but the MC can be very promiscuous depending on u. (HTML)

Rise of the crime lord - haven't played yer but the MC goes from leading a normal life 2 a life of crime

Milfy cases damsels in distress - I think this one had a good synopsis but the guys on the adult game reviews discord think it's shit. Haven't played yet nor can I remember what it's actually about.

A family venture - sounds generic without being completely generic. I can't make a verdict since I haven't played it.

A life in santa County - has incest abd should be a harem but it atleast has a plot even though it got resolved 2 quickly. My only problem is dat d ending of the current version is shit.

Honorable mentions:

Deviant anomalies was interesting but the point and click aspects make it too grindy.

Hero to villain by izumii has barely understandable english and honestly isn't actually that good but it is a revenge story like reunion. Goodbye eternity is also a revenge story with regression elements.

Away from home - has potential but didn't actually play it yet.

B.E.S.T : If you've been on the classroom of the elite reddit and were 1 who slandered others 4 saying it was impossible 2 create the same premise in university, then dis game is the closest thing 2 proving u wrong. But dis time there is a cash prize 4 winning d competition. Episode 5 came out around September I think

30 days: Basically the same shit as tune into the show. I haven't played it yet.

Violation Nation: Basically d adult/porn version of d hunger games. I haven't played it yet either but I can already kinda tell that it could be 2 dark 4 people.



2040 and apocalypse lovers are all post apocalyptic games that I haven't played yet but at least 3 out of 4 of these might be good I think. The repurposing center may also be good as well but I can't tell yet. Timestamps is also kind of original but it is very heavily harem.

Where it all began is slightly better than SG imo but it also needs more content.

The cabin summer vacation might be good if it focuses on the mystery side of things but I haven't played it yet so I'm not sure.

I really wanted 2 like fates determination but the end of episode 7 basically proved dat the MC is a straight up dumbass as well as some of d other characters as well.

Blood of the dragon also has potential. It is kind of similar to homelander and it is also optional harem with no forced LIs imo but it doesn't have as many LIs (although it is still early in development so only time can tell). Some people feel pressured to fuck girls cuz of how d MC's powers work but d deve has assured ppl that this won't affect how d MC does in fights in d future.

Once again might be good based on d synopsis but it might also just be another regression game.

Someone on d maids and maidens thread said dat Always fans is a better game. I played it 4 a bit and I think it has an OG premise but I'm not sure if that'll be enough 2 carry d game imo. They also said on itch.io that virtues is basically a better version of maids and maidens but idk if their capping or not.

Altered destiny (is good but d sandbox is honestly 2 grindy)

I would like 2 recommend ancient times despite it being darker since it is a historical game but d dev added sandbox in d new update which made d game way 2 grindy 4 me.



I can probably recommend more but I realise that most guys here hate porn game tropey games.

I want to add games that I personally think have a good story regardless of the type o f the other aspects of AVNs/porn games that people like but having gone through all of the pages on this thread I'll try to respect people's viewpoints by pointing out things that may stop you from playing the game. I'll also try not 2 mention games that have have already been posted on dis thread.

Desire of fate by KKPotato - I think this has already been mentioned, but only once and not as a recommendation. What makes dis gud is dat it isn't genericIt is set in an alternative version of our modern day world with a few key differences:
1. It has slightly advanced tech/sciemtific innovations compared 2 our world.

2. Feudalism still exists in the MC's home country/empire and all of the countries so far are either empires, kingdoms or ruled/divided by different religions.
If u hate harem then I want u 2 be aware if d fact dat d harem in dis game isn't optional in d fact dat u have 2 at least get 4 of the main girls in d game in order 2 prevent getting a gameover. But other than dat and d fact dat at least 1 of d childhood friends may or may not be optional, all of d other side girls are optional. Dis game has sum form of incest with lilith or lily (their names are similar so I can't remember which is which) as well as Maria 1 of dem being fake incest since she is more of a step sister so if u hate fake incest don't play dis game.

The only other con I can think of is that it might get abandoned on sum sites since the dev hasn't updated d game since maybe October 2024. The MC at least doesn't start off as a Gary stu despite having a "titanoboa" (cringe I know/If you know, you know) but he has the potential 2 develop into 1 4 a gud, story related reason. It is also a honey select which I also know the dev doesn't like based on 1 of their recent comments (I think it was about cosy cafe but I can't remember)

Has freeroam in what I think it episode 2 but it should be easy 2 navigate through. Also has anime jokes in episode 1 and maybe the prologue but you'd have 2 be very sensitive they caused u 2 drop the game. I'll also warn u dat it has alot of potential LIs.

There is also a scene where a guy who ends up being like a deutagonist/partner in crime tells his girlfriend 2 blow d MC early on d game. The gane also starts off with a sex scene. I can't remember if dis is optional or not so u may not like dis. Dis guy also has a mini harem which is proof, along with other women dat d MC doesn't end up getting all D girls he sees.


Maids and maidens by raybae

I was actually very doubtful about dis game having a good plot when I first read the synopsis. In fact, after playing the game twice, I think the game should have a better synopsis. The only reason y I played it is cuz it mentioned something about commercial machinations in the MC's workplace.

This game has a multi-faceted plot with the corporate setting being the main thing but the corporate isn't boring, well at least not after the main plot starts 2 kick off. I will also admit that it is very easy 4 d MC 2 get with girls. At first, it is seem 2 be as a result of his physical features/appearance but if the dev follows through with his plan, there may be something bigger going on 2 explain the ease of MC's sexual escapades.

This game should be optional harem with optional LIs but the MC is not a virgin despite being single which may or may not be an important thing with certain LIs later. In the middle of the game, the MC was also successfully accused of rape and since the dev wasnt showing 2 much of the MC's past, people were thinking of dropping the game as they didn't want 2 play as a rapist MC. I just want 2 assure ppeople who have a problem with dis dat this subplot was mostly resolved without spoiling 2 much but if u still want 2 avoid d game cuz of dis then just do it .

The MC also has the potential to either be a good or bad guy.

- U can choose 2 invade the personal privacy of ur maid, maria by watching her pour breastmilk into your cereal and choose not 2 tell her ablut it afterwards

- U can choose 2 tell an unknown blackmailing phone phisher that u don't care about Maria's sister's legal issues.

- U can blackmail/coerce maria into sex and choose to literally tell her dat u think nothing of her after she is increasingly aware of your flings with other women.

- U can blackmail/coerce yumi but this may also have unknown negative consequences.

-U can choose 2 join a cult

The game also challenge serious/potential world issues like human trafficking, smuggling and transporting, grooming and sexually coercing girl for being used in prostitution. There might be others as well that I can't remember.

I also there are 2 many LIs but there are also a couple of girls that aren't smashable yet/ are slow burn/may not be smashable in the future (1 of them, Sam is a lesbian who gets 2 date a bi girl in the game for now). Another complaint is that there are 2 many girls.

The assistant by backhole

Main plot is basically about preventing a mafioso/businessman from illegal getting a church and school closed down for redevelopment behind the scenes. I will be pretty surprised of dis doesn't end up being a harem game.

The MC can be good or bad guy and there is optional blackmail and optional femdom. The game also starts off post sex and 1 of the LIs (grace) isn't optional. Other than that, all of d of d other girls except 4 maybe gwendolynn should be optional. There is also sum stuff that I'm pretty sure shouldn't be legal/is basically porn tropey or corruption-like with d nuns on the bad gut path as well as optional incest if u use the patch ( I didn't know it was actually incest until after I played cuz of the patches absence so I am pretty sure u can play it even if u hate incest).

Move the chains by missfortune
Basically a sports AVN with a MC who went through sum personal stuff. I won't go into 2 much detail but it is setting up 2 be a harem game but all sex except 4 sex b4 the current storyline should be optional although I plated the v0.3 update so I'm not sure if I've fully played the game.

Long road home by dimitri/OBDganes

Basically a game where the MC starts off in prison and if u then get pass the early ending he gets involved in a biker gang war. Only 2 of d girls aren't optional. Has violence but anything that is 2 violent should be skippable without being avoidable unless u get d early ending. I only played dis game up to episode 13/ version 10 part 3 but I've seen sum complaints about d game detracting alot from the story and focusing more on fucking girls in recent updates which I think are true since I just realised that dis game is significantly better on a 1st playthrough.

Crimson high by vertigo

Can't tell if dis would be a harem or not. Don't wanna say 2 much 2 prevent me from spoiling but I think this is significantly better on a first playthrough like long road home. It is presented as a murder mystery game but it isn't 2 violent.

A very original post apocalyptic game with only 1 sex scene so far. It may be very disturbing at the start but if u can get past the opening scene u should be good.

City devil restart (has potential but it is too early 2 tell/make a verdict on dis 1)

the overarching plot of this one is basically like game of hearts but with more action/less sex scenes. My only problem with dis 1 is dat d current ending v0.3 is shit on d final in game day as the seemingly decent MC lost a couple of braincells.

Survivor strain/somewhere I belong

Basically the same plot as now and then but the game is ongoing, seasonal and the MC is stuck in a different country during the zombie apocalypse. I'm pretty sure the game is optional harem. You can choose 2 commit 2 1 girl and if u do u can probably still choose to cheat on her. Most of the girls also fall 4 d MC a little 2 easily but definitely not all of dem. Season 1 just ended so it has a good chunk of content plus the MC isn't completely a Gary stu as shown towards d end of d last update.

Recently updated and I haven't played the last update. The English is lacking sometimes as well. Has fake incest which is easy 2 come by but every other LI is more slow burn I think.

Stray incubus formerly by flynn: Don't know 2 much about the current development of d game but it has an original storyline. It is a harem game (probably optional) but it makes sense cuz the mc is an incubus and the girls don't actually start 2 immediately fall 4 him until after s1 so d sex doesn't come 2 quickly. I can't really summarise d current storyline or tell where it's going but it definitely has a plot atleast so in my eyes it's a pretty good fantasy game.

Basically an infiltration game in a virtual reality world. Won't go into 2 much detail. In my eyes, this is kind of a harem game without being a harem game cuz almost all of the girl virtual copies of themselves so unless the dev comes up with some sort of cop-out 2 prove me wrong there shouldn't even be a harem ending assuming that 1 of the other main girls isn't real.

Cradle beyond the veil - haven't completed it but it has a similar premise to eternum but u actually get paid 4 entering a simulation instead and it is basically advertised as a choose you own adventure/journey/story simulation. Don't know if its harem like eternum yet.

Time loop hunter - haven't played it but it sounds like an original premise.

The coven - haven't played it yet but from the looks of it, it is similar 2 college daze. MC is 1 of the first ppl in a long time 2 awaken magic and enters a magical school with witches cuz of it.

I pretty much share Tlaero's views of 'AI' -- i.e. LLMs -- and AVN 'writing.'

LLMs are incredibly useful tools for a limited subset of things. For example, they are pretty good at retrieving and organizing data, and generating first cut lists. They are absolutely brilliant at executing certain rote tasks.

But they are awful at analysis that they haven't specifically been trained to do, particularly of complex, dynamic and non-linear systems (e.g. of human systems, and the way humans interact). Absolutely awful. They regularly generate excessively confident answers to questions where confidence is inapposite -- even dangerous.

The worst feature of current LLMs, though, is the tendency of the attached chatbot to flatter the user's intelligence. Couple that with excessive confidence and you've got a Dunning-Kruger/confirmation bias machine. Plug an inexperienced or autodidact user into that, and -- at best -- you have a great formula for intellectual onanism.

Since most successful AVNs involve a great deal of Gary-Stu MC ego stroking for self-inserting users, I can see an AI 'dev' being a real hit at catering to actual, rather than intellectual, onanists. It would be perfect for most porn game players on this site.

But, I think that current LLMs would absolutely suck at creating compelling story-first games, beyond a bit of Joseph Campbell-esque glop.

It might be fun to see if an LLM trained on say, Lovecraft, would be able to create interesting Lovecraft-esque narratives. I suppose it might, in a rewarmed pizza sort of way. But it's a long way from that to creating something unique and compelling.

It is only Episode 1, but it is a decent length. Enough to get a feel for it, but not enough to know where it'll go. It is the same dev as Myth of Slayer, which I also like, and My Real Desire, which I haven't played. But, this is a completely different story from Myth of Slayer (urban fantasy adventure).

First off, Echoes is nothing like the standard college AVN. Most of the story is told through inner monologue. But the MC is suffering from social anxiety and has moved to a new school. And, for an AVN, this is one actually feels true to people with mental health issues. For example, the opening is the MC pulling up to the new house and giving himself a pep talk and breaking down the steps he needs to take to get out of the car and go up to the door. Some of the reviews talk about how boring it is, but to me it is relatable (ehem, outing myself a bit).

The main premise of the game is the masks people wear in order to fit social norms (at least in the USl. The MC is trying on a new mask for the new school. And the struggle he has to try to relate to the people he meets (male and female). How should his new self react, going against all his instincts. When should he let down his mask and be real. Fear when someone sees through it. I just think it's well done for what it is, so far.

There seem to be six love interests, but I'm not sure how it is going to work. So far there are two paths starting, and you've really only gotten to know one girl. So at the very least I don't think it'll be "catch them all". But, the LIs not only have different personalize, but depth behind them.

So far there is one lewd scene, and it does seem like it was kinda thrown in to prove there will be sex. But, it still seems like it could fit the girl's personality when you get to know her better.

It is only Episode 1, but it is a decent length. Enough to get a feel for it, but not enough to know where it'll go. It is the same dev as Myth of Slayer, which I also like, and My Real Desire, which I haven't played. But, this is a completely different story from Myth of Slayer (urban fantasy adventure).

First off, Echoes is nothing like the standard college AVN. Most of the story is told through inner monologue. But the MC is suffering from social anxiety and has moved to a new school. And, for an AVN, this is one actually feels true to people with mental health issues. For example, the opening is the MC pulling up to the new house and giving himself a pep talk and breaking down the steps he needs to take to get out of the car and go up to the door. Some of the reviews talk about how boring it is, but to me it is relatable (ehem, outing myself a bit).

I guess if you're only looking for a game you can relate to, and you can't relate to this type, then it probably isn't for you. But, I think it is going to be more about the characters and their relationships. The MC is studying to be a director and screenwriter. But, I think school is mostly going to be the backdrop of why the characters come together. I don't think this is a major spoiler, but just in case.

Best thing I can think of is that it's more like Catch 22 than Sherlock Holmes. Or more like A Beautiful Mind than James Bond. Sorry, I can't think of a more modern reference.

A sci-fi game in space. I haven't played it.

I've tried an early version. It was interesting about some guy who awakens on a colony ship as a backup captain after a mutiny and decides to land on an alien planet. I wouldn't call it story first, there was a sort of date-2-at-a-time/play-the-field type of setup with a bit much exaggerated drama and imo a significant amount of options were "relationship point choices" when they should've been obvious "haul in commander status/control points". The AI voicing was curious for a while but got boring fast.

Time loop hunter - haven't played it but it sounds like an original premise.

It's original in that it uses the time loop to actually discover a small world ground hog day style and tell something of a porny story, instead of using it as wardrobe to hang as much NTR from as possible from a basic setup like most time loop games. But it has like waaaaaaay too much sexual violence for most posters here.

College daze by G8 games - MC is basically a gart stu with powers who ends up getting involved in a supernatural conspiracy. Harem but most scenes are optional I think. However it is taking forever 4 the mc 2 achieve his OG goal.(HTML)

Cosy cafe (got shit on but the story is actually good even if it didn't have an overarching storyline and the harem is actually relevant once d overarching storyline starts as d MC isn't d only 1 with a harem so it's not like all of the girls in the game end up with d MC. I thought it would just be a boring slice of life AVN but it's more than dat. D MC also chooses 2 ignore rachel d feminist later on. Trust me i don't like her either. Only weird ppl like her).

Don't get me wrong, devs get to put stuff like that in their games if they want, but others then get to exclude it from story-first lists.

I thought the MC's focus on cooking and some of the romcom like elements were pretty nice, but the stuff about a founding family oligarchy felt weird. I felt too that this MC isn't the kind of MC that'd plausibly do well in a situation like that because he isn't very smart or wise. Let him cook, but only cook.

But, I think that current LLMs would absolutely suck at creating compelling story-first games, beyond a bit of Joseph Campbell-esque glop.

Thanks 4 d reply. I mostly agree with u on cosy cafe, especially since I was impressed with the game throughout and would still play it even if the founding family stuff wasn't foreshadowed. I'm just biased or in general more interested in games with an overarching storyline so I only played cosy cafe when I heard about the founding family plotline. I would've probably played it eventually though since most ppl outside of this game were recommending it.
