Anyone came across a story first game (avn) with imperialism or iconoclasm focus?

Are you looking to be the imperial or fight the imperial. Many seem to fall into the fight the imperial.

Most of the ones I recommended 2 u are imperial side except 4 like Coms which is rebellion against an empire but ur pro empire (unless u can get 2 betray dem in latest update onwards)

echoes of 2990 has mentions of actual mutiny and active terrorist space eraser organization that want mc 4 reasons so who knows but at the same time 2 early 2 tell

I'm afraid I can't help you much on being on the imperial side. So many seem like "you're a powerful king/emperor/CEO. Will you seduce women or curruot them.". Just not really my thing. Not all of these are "story first", but they all have what I consider good and interesting stories.

Leviathan is post-apocalyptic near-future cyberpunk. It's the year 2092, the oceans are filled with kaiju-sized sea monsters that aggressively kill anything near the coastline, there's also some superpowers in there too. Kinda a sci-fantasy deal. It doesn't really have too much to do with iconoclasm, the themes are more about interweaving pressures pushing down on the protagonist as he tries to crawl his way to success and heroism. There's a bit of trans-humanism in there, there's cyberware and AI, as well as gene-edited humans, of which the main cast of LIs has at least one of all of those. One of the primary antagonistic factions are a group of ideological extremists that are opposed to all of that, so the MC has to deal with that too.
