Back in the day on Sharks Lagoon we used to get lots of thoughtful feedback and discussions. F95 is a different beast entirely.

I love story driven games with darker themes. Doesn't even necessarily have to be full of dark sexual themes, although that's what I fap to. I am definitely eyeing Father's Sins and Isabella.

Shredding a game because the Father DOESN'T have sex with his daughter and her dog is hardly what I would "constructive feedback".
Though I would point out that F95 is a LOT better than most boards out there.
Just have to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Oh yes, I agree entirely. It would have made for a richer, more satisfying story if she had grown a bit, experienced other people, and still considered coming back to the MC under the right circumstances. That would be a more resonant, true-to-life tale.
But... you know... a subplot like that would have been chum in the water for the mad anti-NTR mob, even though it would not fit the proper definition of NTR in the slightest.
I've long favoured a highly restrictive NTR definition -- which describes a clearly-defined and mostly Japanese game genre. Treating _all_ potential MC feelings of jealousy as NTR kills off so many story-first games.

I haven't played all of these -- work has been a bummer, recently -- but I can chip in a few comments on those that I have gone through.
Accidental Assignment: The initial release was promising. We were given an interesting premise where the MC is assigned as an undercover to agent to a small company full of nice, innocent people who did not deserve MC's deception. But the latest update did absolutely nothing with that, and instead turned into a slice-of-life office drama. It wasn't bad by any means, but not what I was looking for either. Also, the developers are apparently unhappy with the financial prospects of their game and are scaling back their production. I'm still cautiously optimistic, but I've tapered my expectations.
I agree: the new update suggests that AA's dev felt pressure to include a sex scene -- _any sex scene_ -- in order to satisfy the punters. That is never a good sign, if we're concerned about a compelling narrative or characters.
Isabella - Dark Paths: Chapter 2.3 is out for patrons, with proofreading services by yours truly
I enjoyed the update, as per usual, and appreciate that Badtimes has managed to stick to his vision and avoid porny tropes. The story is intriguing, and has kept me guessing... always a good sign! As Jufot says, the LI interactions are brilliant. The last episode had too much exposition involving William, to my taste -- this is better. Show, don't tell, if possible...
Rebirth: Episode 4: Episode 3 is done and dusted! It was generally a slog, so it's good to see episode 4 pick up the pace. It seems like we're finally about to discover what's going on in that cave. Can't wait for the next update!
Rebirth reminds me more and more of a vampire version of the Dev's first game, which had some very slow and dull sections. But... the story and worldbuiding are, again, the reason why I keep coming back.

What do you guys think about Vinovella University? Seems fairly story focused so far and off to a good start. If they can pull off the whodunit / mystery novel well this could be a great game.

i liked it to be honest. I just hope the mystery will be the main theme in this one and I hope it won't turn into the lovey doey college game.

Dreams of reality didn't find this game in this thread. If some one mentioned it earlier sorry for mentioning it again. I really loved this game. Story wise this one is a top game. Story is quite emotional and there is some tension. Dev didn't afraid to touch dark themes. All the LI's are nice. Wife Louise is perfect felt like don't wanna cheat her. And yep didn't cheat her. And there is kimiko her story very much emotional. There is choices to corrupt her but didn't corrupted her.
Renders are top notch but they are decent. Game offers many paths too. If you like playing story rich games get ready for a emotional ride.But this game is very much underrated here. Hoping this one gets the attention it deserves.

I only played one of the earlier versions of it, but I had a good impression of it. The themes it explores were pretty interesting and the insanity stuff is something I enjoy. I probably played it in the totally opposite way as you (cheating and turning the MC insane lol), but that means both routes had a convincing execution I guess. Actually, it's been too long that I kinda forgot most details, but I remember it being very good all around. Notably, it was quite responsive to your choices in terms of coding. Nice use of variables and flags to alter dialogues and routes.

Colour of my Sound could be an intriguing addition to your list of story-focussed games.
It's in very early development (though not really easy to judge in which direction it may go in the future), but its introduction chapter is promising so far - something in between neo-noir, sci-fi and thriller. Great renders as well.
Between two Worlds is another promising heavy-story aspirant crossing boundaries between the real world and a fantasy (roleplay) world. Although in early development it shows some quality and ambition many games would be proud of.
Please apologize if these two have already been recommended before in this wonderful thread. It was a little too much effort to check all posts on the current 37 pages... ahm, without any superpowers available ... at the moment.

Haha, no worries and welcome to the thread! Both games were indeed mentioned here. I still haven't played Between Two Worlds, but I did check out Color of My Sound last year. Beneath the ridiculous porn tropes, there is a decent story.

Colour of my sound is interesting,it has good world building and lore,it's kinda giving me the Dune vibes with the houses and the emperor and such,although when it comes to the women in this game they fall for the mc rather easily. I'm not bothered by it too much personally as I don't look for romance and such in my games,but one of the requirements in this thread was that the girls are supposed to be independent beings and serve grander purpose. Now,to be fair some of them do have bigger purpose and are using their charms to sway or trick the mc,as is common in political schemes,but some of them are just bland and not that interesting. Still,if the focus will remain on said schemes and the mission mc is assigned,while maintaining it's world building and expanding upon it,it could be a really great game in the future.

Played Between Two Worlds. So far it is a pretty laid back game with nice characters. However, I don't think it fits here. It has very little plot so far. Just follows a group of friends in their daily life. Except a magic dream lady shows up to make all the females want to do lewd stuff with the MC. And conveniently the male friends are gay. So to me, porn logic and not much story, so not something that fits well with this thread. But it is still early and later chapters may push the story further.

I agree though. While the trope of the otherworldly wingwoman (this character is usually female in porn games) has grown a little on me, the trope works best when this character's powers are limited. Make them too powerful and the story becomes a fuckfest without stakes.
But he quoted both the magic dream lady and the conveniently gay male friend. Maybe the combination was the straw that broke the camel's back.
