This game is interesting. Gameplay-wise, better than the first game. Storyline-wise, it is worse; the end of the game felt rushed and the final boss is just a palette swap of a regular enemy with no point in the plot. Knowing the mechanics may allow you to one-shot or 2-shot enemies and bosses quickly.
Got everything unlocked. This can be very tedious for unlocking everything. A few things that are permanently missable and can be easily missed:
- Various event Animation and CGs in the levels. Always aim for 100% completion on the levels before approaching. You can only backtrack certain levels, most notably if you did not upgrade to the next phase or on boss levels. Otherwise, you lose them forever.
- The lose CGs. If you did not lose during the 2nd and 3rd forms at the end of the game, you won't be able to get the first 2 CGs due to being already in phase 4. You can still access the 3rd CGs, however.
- The last CG scene ending. I am not sure if it is required to play the first game or not. Assuming it does not require the first game, in the very early parts of the game, there is an event trigger on one of the levels that give you 3 choices. Pick the bottom one, wanting Eve. When entering the final level, you are given 2 choices. Again, pick the bottom one, wanting Eve. Also, this only shows up as a CG (not animation); you would have to beat the final boss again to see the animation.
Fortunately, once you unlock them, you don't have to re-unlock them again. You can backtrack on a previous save or start over again.
