That moment they tilted their heads during the porn watching scene, I caught myself tilting my head that is how good story is.

Really refreshing game, fantastic story and as I said before, these dudes grow on you, just perfect.

the head tilt probably got more attention on the Discord forums than any other scene in that entire update. I'm sooo glad people had the appreciation for that.

You should take it as a big compliment that it worries me, as I usually have no problem with NTR content, especially if it's avoidable. But I adore these characters and don't want to think of anything that could get between them. So congrats on great character creation.

Hey, thanks for the love. Lot of things I can say to this post but I'm going to tread carefully: I will say nice catch on the dialogue though. Nice to see somebody picking up on some of the subtle differences between the routes. No spoilers though. If it makes you feel better, I'm super attached to them too so we in it together bro.

I'm a big fan of the hair too....it's an honest turnoff to me when guys shave the downstairs. Plus, i think it also separates this game from about 90% of the others out there that use bald dick models. In all seriousness, i have considered body hair mods for the game but that would be waaaaay down the line after we're finished and working on the remastered edition. Basically, in doing that, i would have to render ever picture like 3 or 4 times and that would be insane.

Also glad you enjoyed the update. This one was big and we really felt it checked a lot of boxes for almost every player. Turned out to be one of my favs. Glad it brought you some joy too

I have to thank you so much for this kind of story. Though admittingly gay men are relatively small in population it is a refreshing breath of fresh air to get a visual novel involving that kind of love and attraction and the confusion of youth. The dialogue is especially noteworthy, it's difficult to make naturalistic dialogue between people, especially of that age and make it believable. In alot of stories, even in the porn variety, the characters are little more than charicatures, alot of them are unlikable. You managed to keep the characters both grounded and likable without them becoming silly.

Also as a small detail that I think is often missed. I'm glad that you brought some variety to the penis shapes. usually in art the penis is often a generic shape when really penises are as varied as people's faces.

I only have really one criticism, Maybe it's just me and it's purely personal, But please do not take this as me slagging the game at all. Anyways my criticism is the excessive teasing. More so often the situation between Zach and Braden often hints that something is going to happen. Or even just a reveal and then we get left hanging. Being teased is fun but there is a threshold, eventually it has to pay off. And being teased too much makes one lose interest and not caring when the reveal or the pay off happens at last. It's a fine balancing act, and an increasingly lost art.

But really compared to most other VNs out there, this is a much better example of one then the majority of them out there. I'm a fan, I just hope the story between these two will be tightened up abit in future updates.

Heya. Thanks for the thoughts. Glad you like the dialogue because it's something that i feel we do differently than other games. While some feel it's boring, I don't plan on changing the style because it's unique imo. The penis shape is also purposeful. I'm not sure how far you've gotten in the story but things like that actually matter in this game. Plus, as you point out, diversity is a good thing.

In terms of the teasing. I know that's bothered some people in the past, in particular, the ones that were looking for fap material. The more this game has developed, it's sorta taken on this HBO kinda feel. It's a detailed story that happens to have nudity in it. Because I dont have to worry about censors and stuff like HBO does, i get more artistic freedom and can go to whatever limit I want with the sex. However--back to your original point-- the teasing isn't intentional despite some thinking it to be. This is not an intentional blue ball game to jerk people along for update after update without any sex content. The nudity in this game is very calculated with the content as a matter of trust between the characters. Thus, they're not going to do stuff until they're ready. You have to respect where these two people started while also understanding that things that come across to us as "teasing" while we watch things unfold may be every day things that roommates deal with. For example, if this game wasn't posted on an adult site, we probably wouldn't be openly talking about the teasing of the sex content--we'd talk about the story. If I compromise the story for the sex content, i risk everything and lose the purpose of the "teasing" and betray the integrity of the story. Believe me, I want these two together as much as the other fans, but they gotta be ready for it and there has to be a clear progression to that. We waited a full year for the events that happened in the park in v0.12 and it was every bit worth it imo. It very much is a balancing act but one that has to be appreciated within the context of the purpose of the game too. While I joke about making an "existential porn game" it's really less porn than it is an "existential adult coming of age romance." I'm not going to say I balance it perfectly because I have no idea if I do and we've never done this before. I think everyone has their standards and their patience for teasing. While I'm the head writer, I found myself just going along with the characters and cheering when things move forward--just because the odds were never in their favor in the first place.

Heya. Thanks for the ditto. You are correct. There is no sound. The same is still very much in pre-alpha right now. This is a rough draft. We'll hopefully get to sound eventually

Most of the choices in the game (except for the gaming changing Pervy vs Respect route choice to touch Braden) don't matter a ton. A lot of these simply just move the game in a direction that may interest you personally. Some will change aspects to the story or give you insight into a particular part of a character. Others may unlock something extra but none will significantly alter the game. The story, overall, is pretty linear for a specific reason. 1) i wanted to tell a certain story for a certain reason, and 2) the more choices involved, the more complicated the story and writing become. Given that I"ve never done this before, I didn't want to get too involved on the first try and just get overwhelmed and give up like a lot of devs do.. Would rather keep it less complicated and better than overly complicated and abandoned.

maybe I misunderstood you but this question was just answered in the post before yours. Correct. There is no sound in the game yet. this game is a work in progress. It's added to update by update. We haven't gotten to sound. It's already been a year and a half to get it to here. Sound is going to be one of the last thing we add and it probably won't be added until we do the complete overhaul revision once the game is finished. this is just the rough draft of the game right now

I LOVE this game, seriously, when I play this type of game, I always go for porn and never give much attention to the story, but I loved this, it was the only game of this kind that I must have read almost every dialogue without skip them, I loved the story, I can not wait to see the rest of it and the end.
