Not really a matter of believable or not. I genuinely had to sit back and stare at the screen for 10 minutes thinking about this one. I get why you split Claire and Lexi. I HATE it, but I get it. If it was Claire / Lexi or the other two, its not even a choice, Mom and Sis for the win, but still . . .
I know you have to have one of the 'tech' girls awake to push the main story on, but why that split? I don't particularly like Lauren but she created Paige. her with Claire, again would be an easy choice. but Beth? eurghhh.
I need Claire on this damn ship, but poor Lexi.
And the more you think about it, the worse it is for her. When she wakes up on Elysium without her Mother, or the MC, she's gonna be alone for TWO YEARS on a planet that, according to Pandora, is all going to shit!! yeah I know Lauren's present, but she invented Paige so she will obviously be a prime target for both the bad Corporations and the resistance. either Lexi is gonna get dragged into that shit or she will genuinely have to survive on her own on a strange planet where, as far as we know, she has no job waiting for her, no house, no friends, no support structure at all. Claire could manage, but Lexi?

Wouldn't it make sense for Pandora to just kill the MC to make sure Paige doesn't get in the wrong hands? If she truly cares about her planet and is really ready to commit murder to protect it?

Possibly, but given how she seems to care about her planet, I'm sure she'd rather see it flourish with Paige's help. That would make MC's survival a priority for her. Not to mention using his locked memories to uncover the identities of all those involved, and stopping them.
Outside of your reasoning (which is sound) I would offer a counter suggestion: Pick Lexi. Why? It's simple - we already have some glorious lewd scenes featuring Claire and the MC, but nothing with Lexi. Do yourself (and the MC) a favor and choose the possibility of some featured Lexi content.
Plot and general sensibilities be damned... I want MC to tap that ass!

Exactly! This is what I've been saying for a while now. I mean, I get that there are at least a few things about the game that I (the player) know that the MC doesn't, and vice versa, but it seems to me that the MC is a little too willing to give Pandora the benefit of the doubt and take what she's told him at face value.
Granted, he did backtrack from that just a little in Day 19 - Part II, but he still seems a bit too trusting, given his (partially remembered) background and his awareness of his amnesia-induced huge blind spot. He knows that there is some stuff going on (his having been allegedly sneaked aboard the ship while in cryo, the ship having allegedly been sabotaged, his amnesia, the Fracture hack of Paige, the Pandora situation, and probably other things) that are incredibly shady at best, and that more likely are part of a dangerous conspiracy. I just think that Pandora's unexpected approach and her claims should raise major red flags with him.

Ngl, this game has some of the most unhinged funny dialogue I've seen in quite a while. It's really a superb exercise in creative writing, even if it's a bit too frequent at times, for my liking.

this is how I feel. currently this is my favorite Adult VN out of all of them, and I've played Waifu Academy, Milfy City, etc. but this one's dialogue has actually had me reading everything slowly and intently. The writing is funny and the mystery has been fun too, especially when you get to day 19 with the rest of us and get the big plot reveal which also turns into a major decision. It's a really fun and wild ride and I can't wait for the future updates.
