Battle replays are a move in the right direction, but we could also use scene replays to see the various images/animations you can get by making choices and winning/losing fights. If it comes with a tally of how much of any given character's content you've unlocked and a neat little badge for 100%ing a character or something your game will feel a lot less chaotic to play.
It would also be very satisfying for all potions to actually affect replay battles, making them easier as you progress through the game and unlocking things like previously inaccessible counterattack renders.
Also, an obligatory plea to replace the broken dice system, which is essentially just a bad mini-game in the form of enforced save-scumming. If you can do CGI that good, you can come up with a better solution for its presentation, which is what the entirety of SBAP essentially is.
