What does the remake change from the original version? I did not play the original because people said it was very grindy. Is the grind gone or at least significantly reduced in the remake?

Yes. I addressed the grinding. Lowered the level of enemies (Final boss level will be lowered from 420 to 75)

I also added a feature that automatically sets the stat points for you depending on what you do (If you study, you gain int, if you work out, you gain strength and if you run, you gain agi). Also got rid of the relationship stat (like talking to a girl multiple times to increase your relationship with them)

I also got rid of the RNG combat system. Lowered the ranking system from having to fight 100 to only 25. Fixed some bugs then changed the story a bit.

Is it wayyy less grindy? Yezzir. Is it not grindy anymore? I can't say.

A bit of grind adds to the gameplay, some of my favorite OG Flash H-Sim games had them and it brings back some nostalgia. Too much is a chore and too little is just a slideshow of sex scenes. Kudos to you for the remake

I always like to discover games that are different and I thought this hits the mark. Not extremely so, but certainly enough to keep me interested to explore for a while. Ultimately though the combat still got too repetitive and it didn't really feel like I got stronger as the enemies just seemed to proceed to get stronger at a similar rare; so why bother - that was the first issue. And then sex scene writing came into play. Even by Japanese standards ^^ this feels pointlessly rape-y; just not my cup of tea. In combination I didn't finish it.

Nice to have found this, but not quite hitting the mark for me.

That's a huge compliment, actually, since I've always been open about this game being inspired by GNM. I honestly didn't think people would like it, so I got kind of overwhelmed by the gameplay. Combat is the only sort of unique thing in this game and I admit, I fell short.

As for why the enemies scale with the player, it's for the sake of growth. If the player is level 70 and the enemies at the park are level 5, it would take like a thousand fights to gain a level haha

I could have just used different zones to diversify enemy levels, but I was in a hurry to finish this game because it's super buggy. Anyways, I learned from this and applied it to the sequel. Added(or will add) different zones to make it feel like the player is actually conquering something. You don't just see your level increase, you have visual proof that you're doing something.

As for the remake, I made it so that if you beat a certain boss, you can increase the level of the enemies up to a certain amount, so there's a cap/ceiling to aim for.

As for the story, I find it hard to write rape scenes too, if I'm being honest. Even completely removed one of the rape scenes in the remake. It's just that a lot of times, I'm limited by the clips I have, you know? I have to write around it instead of specifically curate a scene the fits what I wanna write.

Nonetheless, thanks for trying the game! If I ever make new stuff in the future, I hope you find it again and like it enough to stick around this time.
