4. Park enemies level up with the player and it's randomized to either add or subtract from the current level. It's made for grinding. It's the Combat Rankings that will have the regular progression. I figured people would wanna see seggs first so I didn't focus too much on the fighting but I will add more. You're right, this game is Delinquent themed after all.
I have three suggestions for the park fights:
1. Let the subtraction go all the way down to 1 regardless of player level. Sure, it will put some ridiculously easy fights in the rotation once the PC's level is high enough, but that's not necessarily a bad thing and it means less XP for the energy expended.
2. Maybe reduce the maximum that can be added a bit? Drawing a high-level fight feels like an automatic hospital trip a lot of the time.
3. Alternatively (or additionally), maybe a higher intelligence can mean sometimes predicting an opponent's move?
Outside of the fights, maybe there can also be a location added where the player can spend more energy for XP than the 10 energy for 2 XP of running? If I have 140 energy and don't feel like taking on the RNG in the park, it's extremely inconvenient to have to click a ton of buttons just to get 28 XP.
