Well, if you wanted a big audience from the start:
  1. Promote it before the release.
  2. Produce at least one chapter with 1000 stills.
A demo alone won’t suffice. Like others have said be real about it. It’s about money. We all spend time and cash on our hobbies.
I know some devs who are still going, even with less than $200 a month.
Your AVN had the potential to break the mold, but it was always going to take time before it really took off. Still, you do you, I guess.Good luck with your next endeavors in the AVN sphere.
I just hope it’s not another “horny college kid with a harem” .

Overview:
Streets of Allegiance is a cinematic adult visual novel blending crime-drama, mafia intrigue, and story-driven intimacy.
Inspired by the grit of GTA and the atmosphere of classic mafia sagas,
it delivers an experience that feels more like a movie than a game.

Step into the life of a woman forced to leave her past behind and rebuild in a new world.
Haunted by trauma yet driven by willpower, she faces betrayal, corruption, and dangerous new alliances.
Your choices will determine whether her path leads to vengeance, redemption, or something in between.

Planned tags? I hate when games release too vague... tell us what the main kinks and fetishes are, tell us if it has non con content or if its planned, is it a rare occurrence or one of main kinks being catered too. Tell us if there is a proper lesbian route.

F95 needs to force devs to tell us more about the type of sexual content all these asset flip games that get abandoned are bad for the community

Just one measly update and they expects people to come towards them on knees begging for more or somethin...if you want to make it profitable you need to release at least 2-3 updates on significant user-based sites to promote it...the time and effort you spent doing this project is the thing you will reap in the future...sad to see that initial releases get abandoned though:cautious::sleep:
P.S-Just a friendly tip...Learn to be patient a little more:cool:;)

My Dev friend, you were wrong since the beginning ! Like we aren't already fking fed up of boss-babes or girl-powers after the last 15 years of Holywood woke and fem**ist BS ! Your idea was D.O.A.
Those aren't getting fucked though, there's a pretty big difference. It's actually pretty cool to have a strong willed FMC that doesn't get raped in every other scene. It's become pretty boring honestly.

I do not know if I should talk about other game, but there is this game called My Husband's Boss. He released his first update with 5000 renders, the impression was tremendous. In fact, people were asking why don't you open Patreon to get support. He answered, it's his passion project. If the dev of this game wanted that kind of support then he should have released that much of a big update, but he chickened out because he was not here for passion, he was here for money. It is that simple. Every game takes time. One needs to have patience and grit. Clearly you are lacking in this aspect. Actually, it's good you quit early. Because then it would be us who would be disappointed. But damn, you really need to work on yourself and change those people who have given you this kind of advice because they are not helping in any way. Whatever it is, GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR FUTURE. Hope you don't quit on everything this fast.

It’s not about money, it’s about reality. A project like this only makes sense if there are people who actually want to see it grow – people to interact with, exchange ideas, build a community around. That’s what keeps a dev going.

Instead, when I look at the numbers and even someone on our own Discord calls the project “pathetic,” then I have to ask myself: should I ignore that reality and waste hundreds of hours while neglecting other things I’m working on? Or is it more honest to admit it’s not working and move on?

Pretending otherwise would just be lying to myself. Comments like yours don’t help anyone – they don’t show strength, just zero tolerance, zero understanding and zero respect for someone who at least created something.
it just drop and didnt even give it some time to gain traction. You dropped it and expected it to blow up day one.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to give you all an honest update regarding Streets of Allegiance.

Unfortunately, the game has not sparked the level of interest I had hoped for. Out of thousands of players, only a very small number truly engaged with the project (around 11 out of 1000+). Considering the huge amount of time and effort needed to create these cinematic scenes and to tell the story the way I envisioned it, it has become clear that this is not sustainable for me to continue.

It was, however, an absolute joy to work on this project. I’ve learned a lot in the process, and I am truly grateful for every single positive comment and all the appreciation shown towards the time and passion I put into SOA.

Thank you for giving this story a chance, and for the support and kind words along the way. Even though the project will not be continued, your feedback means a lot to me and will stay with me as I move forward.

With gratitude,
HeartBytes
Dude,

You didn't really even give this a chance. There are other sites you could have promoted it on and whoever told you the story would never work on this site is an idiot and is probably one of the morons who have kept Survivor on the air for 23 years. Most of these games on F95 are not well written, the devs don't understand pacing or continuity, they have never heard of things like the rule of thirds, the rule of odds or have any idea how to use negative space, and god forbid they stage a scene correctly. No one really cares about those games as they are a dime a dozen and are just made for fapping.

As a failed developer myself, here is an important lesson I learned. Write and create a story for yourself and stop listening to the random fans on this site. Most of them just want to rub one out and they just need 2-3 minutes of mediocre animation to nut on their keyboard and none of them are willing to spend money to support you. All the developers who create popular games on this site, while they may listen to feedback, they stick to their story and their ideas. Think about it, most games in the top 20 have a solid story driving the AVN forward and the hot LIs and h scenes are a plus. Sure, there are some outliers and the stories suck and for some reason they are popular, but they are in the minority.

But this does not happen overnight. It takes time. Personally, I think you have something here and I wish you would reconsider. Maybe extend your production time to match your life or re-evaluate your routine. IDK, just think about.

Regardless, good luck in whatever you chose to do.

You're thinking harder about this than the dev ever did.
Dude made 100 renders, thought everybody and their mom is going to sub instantly and he's going to be rich and famous.

Do you really want a game from someone with this mindset?
I don't.
Be glad this bombed early on or it would have been shitshow down the road.
