A demo is a free of charge, representative section of a game, supposed to show off its features and quirks. So, basically what you get with the DEMO on here. All current versions are installments which differ from the actual demo. ;3

Yes, it is a stripped down version & way shorter then the other one, but at least bug-free! :p

YEAH this wont backfire at all on ya dev IM SURE IT WONT. View attachment 4629691
Translation. "Stop pirating my game, or Ill stop making it, punishing the innocent people."

You havent learned from people like WolfQZ have ya.

NEVER threaten your supporters because of pirates.
If you want to view it as a "threat" you are free to do so. However, this is anything but a threat, but more of a kind reminder. I have nothing against piracy per sé. Else I wouldn't have joined this site. Piracy is inevitable and it's neither purely good nor purely bad. However, there are consequences for me as a DEV as well . It's not like I earn money and get to spend it to my heart's content. I have a business, which comes with costs. (f.e. excpensive health insurance) which would be a reason to quit working on SoL already. But, I don't expect to make any biiig money anytime soon. I'm more than happy if can keep my income at a level as it currently is. In fact, my expectations have been exceeded, so I'm really grateful for the support.

This project won't be abandoned anytime soon. Again: It's a reminder on what the (justified and logical) consequences will be, should this matter become really severe and I'll be forced to shut it down.

This is not about hating on pirates or punishing anyone. Heck, I've pirated few games myself, so I'm not even in any position to judge people for doing it - even as a DEV. I've went into this knowing that something like this may happen, but it is necessary to remind people every once in a while (this being only the first time btw) and as long as I'm not being a complete dick about it and go Yandere Dev-mode on people's butt, I'm sure people will understand.

So, no harm done buddy. You can still look forward to the next version! ;3

It's evident that funding matters in games. Life can happen and Devs can get busy and crash their own project or slow in updates or even try new projects without finishing others. All that said, you can always just support for a short period of time or long period depending on Devs efforts.
