Honestly, if I'm going fast I'll use window photos app built in ai background removal tool. Otherwise I use gimp to remove backgrounds, crop, and resize to the right ratio for the game.
I'm kinda stuck right at the get go. the tutorial tells me there is a "list hiring ad" button or something but it's just not there. neither in the office nor anywhere else. what have i missed? seems like one needs a goddamn phd to play this game.

Thanks for the update. FWIW, it is still missing nyb packs 1 and 5.
Pregnancy needs to be visible. It's a big mistake that it isn't. It's also ridiculous we have to download all these image packs when they should be bundled with the game.

I've updated most of the ladies in the ccw pack, for those that are interested. Added a bunch of variations ever since the update that allows for more than one pic per outfit, as well as made the headshots a little larger to match the other ingame models. Also added Maria Ozawa. Personally feel that she didn't quite end up as good as my other gals, but hey... she's there if ya want her.
Annoyingly had to split 'em up into separate zips due to being too large, but I guess it makes it easier to pick and choose who you want.

Love the game and the concept but atm it's unplaybale for me. Had incompatible saves every time I started it, deleted a pack, stop getting the problem. Tried to play today, all saves incompatible again. There needs to be some tidying up before I try this again. I'm not a PC savvy, neither do I want to be one.
I agree with this. I love this game, but it needs a lot of improvements to the visual elements. Pregnancy shouldn't have been added without it being represented on the models. It's bad enough that sex isn't represented visually, but pregnancy needs to be seen. The greatest strength of this game is emersion, but pregnancy without visual representation breaks that.

Absolutely you can. You have full agency over who the MC choses to have sex with. Also, if you play a bit with the configuration files, you can also have the entire world female only, if you are so inclined.
After probably two hundred hours playing this game, I've decided to wait for the finish. But this news also stunned me. Pregnancy is a huge turn away from common sense, in the absence of images to fulfill it. Too many changes, too fast. I have already decided to stick with only the native images, and yet those will now be inadequate to the story.

For those that feel that pregnancy without images is not worth it, it can be disabled via a config file entry. Add this to your user_config.dat file:
base_pregnancy float 0
If you skip game versions, you run the risk of the save files not working with the latest game. For example, if you were at 1.04 and then installed 1.06 skipping 1.05, then yeah, your 1.04 save files won't work with version 1.06. This is pretty common behavior.

Just turn it off then? The pregnancy stuff is still only a small addition anyway, especially right now. If it ever becomes more substantial and the extra huge amount of works ever gets done to retroactively add images that fit every generated character so far, and all in future, then maybe you could turn it back on. Either way this seems like a non-issue in the grand scheme of the game imo when it's just one potential story beat.

The pregnacy takes the game out of it .... absollute zero fun. The game is making the cum at the same time geting creampie scores and number of girl friends you can have. Also make the stripping photos more eye opening. The finances play to slow for the precieved pace of the game, do you want to play the same game for days? literal days? and still have you club just getting to singers, and not be able to stay out of debt? You have some ballance issues with time and money. but it is fun for a bit. Or double cums or double cream pies or getting her to cum doesn't get you points etc. It should how many times can you get her to cum off the end off your dick. 3 times is my record, with 2 cream pies and one simultanious.
