Any info on why the GoFile link to the new version got yeeted by Chrome? Wouldn't even let me download it saying it was malicious. Probably a false positive but I haven't tested out the new version yet just in case. TotalFluke

Really? Base game is unplayable without grabbing and installing and messing with mods? Doesn't matter if they are easy to figure out either - it's like wanting to test drive a car but the dealership makes you change the tires first.

Image pack are not mods. (There are one or two mods to find in the forum, but they are not in the main page.) The girl-named packs, from A to G (Amber, Bethany, Crystal... Gloria) are made by the dev, they are official. You don't have to donwload all to play, but you need at least 2-3 of them, I say.

And you just put them into the right folder, there is no "messing and installing" with them; only if you download non-official image packs, now, there will be a minimal installing and messing with them, true enough.

The idea is this: When you first install the game, you have to donwload some image packs, too. But later, if there is a new version of the game - like right now, the v1.08 just came out yesterday -, for updating, you only need to donwload the small base game, you don't have to download the same big image packs again and again.


Still, there is some truth in your car-dealer metaphor. This game, it's not a modern saloon car with computers, where only the garage mechanics are there to change or repair anything, you as the driver are even discouraged to touch your car. No, it's a car from the very old times, when you almost required to be a mechanic on your on own, knowing you car inside and out. Here, you are encouraged to "mess" with config files, and the dev even helps you to cheat via the game console or save editing.

The idea of reducing a rival club owner to being an employee at your own is amusing.

Ah, good times. Rival club had a hot owner and went bankrupt. Now she works for me as a manager, uhm, managing stuff, you know?

I only tested GoFile and Pixeldrain. Pixeldrain downloaded fine but I still deleted it anyway before unzipping it, I'm waiting to hear back from TotalFluke, personally.
