Do we know if any of the image file structure has changed at all with the upcoming version? I'm not in the discord or anything so I thought I would ask of anyone who has tried it. I assume there hasn't been any changes but if there has I'm just wondering how much of a pain in the backside it will be to update image packs o_O

The image structure remains the same, so every image pack from version 1.xx is compatible and works without problems with the beta version of Strip Club Wars 2.

Nice, thanks. Good to know haha. I was looking at my files the other day and the idea of having to restructure that many hundreds and hundreds of files did not seem appealing.
That's not to say that if something changed to improve upon it some day that I wouldn't take a stab at it but still lmao.

Interested to see how it plays when it eventually comes out though.

You can already play last available beta version of Strip Club Wars 2 B4, to which you can find a link on discord, which would have been given here just a few posts above.
And on discord you can also already find even mods that work in the new beta version of SCW 2 too.

In case anyone is interested, I modified the cheat file, just place it in the tfel folder. When interacting with any girl, just press Cheat NPC button and that will automatically max all her club attributes and sexual preferences. I also modified it to max player stats as well (Cheat button on the main panel).

Edit: This is for version 1.11 (I haven't played version 2)

For those of you not on the Discord... v2 is coming along nicely and the process has been way smoother than I expected. I will have one more beta update in a few days that has the last big changes for 2.0 and after that if there are not major issues, I will be making a full release.

Tested the v2 and the game has been slighty improved but the main gameplay remain inchanged, the game IS the player and the PC remains a puppet without initiative making the "game" something I generally call an "anti-sandbox"... I explain.

In a sandbox, the game is opened and the player have a lot of options to choose, with results varying depending the attributes of the PC.
Here it's inverted. Depending the attributes of the PC and the girl, the game mostly decide which options can be avalaible.

2 exemples: the sex process and the recruit process.

To recruit someone you must first post a job employement and after that you can propose a girl an interview but without specifying for which job... so you must open all jobs employements, propose a job to a girl and wait somedays for the interview to finally propose her the job you want for her or to refuse her.

==> Ideally you would be able to catch a girl, propose her to work for you in the job YOU want for her and see if she agrees. After that only you can plan an interview for finalize.

To have sex with someone and to have anal sex for example you must pass all the steps to open the option of having anal sex, kiss, finger, lick...

==> Ideally you could catch a girl on the street, propose her to have anal sex and see if she slap your face :D

I know the dev answered me "it's a game there is no need to be coherent or realistic" but there is a minimum and, but perhaps it's personal, but I have no fun to have so much mandatory steps to pass before to be able to really play as a Owner/Master :)

To resume, having along time and some grind to manage the city and the citizen is ok,not being able to really do what I want with my own club is not...

Hey all. I recently got back into the game after downloading all 14 of the updated female SCW image packs, and I have a question that I want to ask. I posed this a few months ago, but I figured I'd give it another shot.

Whenever I start a new game, I tend to get only a fraction of the available character models show up. I believe that there are around 700 possible ones, and looking through the files, I have a very steady rate where from each group (SCW 1-14), I get the same 2-3 every single time, another 3-4 that I get occasionally, and then I basically never see any of the other 40+ in the first 50-100 characters that show up in town. Its not that I dislike the ones that I get, but I'd love to have more variety, and the random generation just feels like its stuck in some way.

Is this something other people notice? Is there a way to adjust the settings so that I'm more likely to get a random selection of all 700 rather than the 15% or so I get in the first few months after starting?

Thanks for any advice.

Change the initial population and the character pool in the user config and start a new game again. I use 300,000 for population and 40 per month. Also, if you have other packs you have to add that to the user config as well.

I have noticed it, and it's been mentioned by others before in this thread. Probably has to do with some sets fitting better with the early generated characters. Commissioners, for example, tend to be older so they're drawing from the smaller pool of older image sets.
