It was a bit of both, really. No insult was intended.

But I took the idea that you may get extra points, or a choice might be easier, or moved to the top of the list, if the activity is aimed at someone else. I will be interesting to see how it actually is used.

I reported an issue over the main game thread and apparently is caused by the King Tut mod. Can you take a look at this?

In short: sometimes time goes from noon to evening, bypassing afternoon. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, it's always at noon. According to Total Fluke, the MC does some sort of automatic, random working out session?

Just a heads-up: I started playing with v2.02 + King Tut 1.56 and I still haven't seen the "stable employment" modifier (it's mid-March).

Everything else seems to work just fine.

I know you can edit names in the save file but could you add the ability to change character names in the mod ideally any character but I understand if the player and special characters can't be changed without messing up stuff.

getting an error when downloading from Mega: It keeps saying "cannot open file king_tut_v1.57.zip as zip"
Is this an issue with 7zip or with the archive itself?

For reference, I've downloaded it several times to try and see if it was a download error, and also tried renaming it to .rar, .7z etc, but 7zip categorically refuses to recognise the file as an archive.

I'm using 7zip 24.08(x64) and the file unpacks fine. I did notice mega paused the download(using firefox browser) had to click a blue circle with an i in it, read a warning about an uncommon download and virus warning and then select continue download/accept download(something like that). Are you sure the archive is being fully downloaded?

Heyo! I figured it out, didn't see your message until now. I was using Firefox as well, but I have a download manager (FileCentipede) that wasn't supposed to be intercepting the download, but was doing it anyway... which led to the file being 0B. Should've caught that at once lol, but it took me quite a while to see it. The best part was that Firefox, Mega, and FileCentipede were all happily telling me all was well and the file downloaded correctly when it clearly hadn't.

I had to disable the manager and reload the browser/tab to fix it. Dunno why that worked.

I see in the mod options there's a "payoff debts" - how does this work?
I can't see a button or anything to do this.

I had the same thing just happen to me.

No worries! I'm a long-time forum user/lurker, and there's nothing more frustrating than seeing a dead thread with the same problem as you but no solutions -- or worse, just an edit saying nvm i figured it out. Glad I could help!

However, seeing as so many people had the same error/glitch makes me wonder if the issue is on the server side with Mega.. i guess I'll never know though lol
