Save before and after Anastasia wedding
put some mess
growth factor unchanged
going to next character may not work
factors shows at 25 works well on reload
value at null
I think the wife class is the cause of the problem

Anyone else notice a sharp decrease in performance?
Before v0.11.0e I could have every (Non-Race or Character-specific) class, and play just fine, with some Combat lag (My attacks just take longer to "load").
Now every time I Advance Time, it's laggy.
~5 seconds for x4 advance if I do things before it (Like clearing a Bandit Fort for Cali, who seems to not be spawning).
Saving is even worse, can take ~10s under the same circumstances.

The only cause I can think of is having so many classes, but it wasn't causing an issue in 0.11.0b or any earlier version. Other than the combat lag, but that has less to do with classes, and more to do with the sheer stats involved. At least that's my guess.

Is it just me or is the first Strive still a much better and complete game than this?
As someone who started on Strive:Conquest, and didnt try the first one until several playthroughs of this one, I can say Conquest is much better, in every regard. Just my two cents

Well, from Kenshi I've learned, that sometimes its worth to wait 12 years.

Kenshi is a fantastic game. Hard, but fun

Which aspect that not relate to bug issue and unfinish gameplay? Bc the only thing I can see is maybe artstyle, Ui friendlier. Otherwise of course you feel like that bc this thing still in WIP(Not being a dick here :] )
There's one slight, um, maybe not a problem, but timeline... inconsistency?

The first game was in development for 2 years (plus the final patch that was basically done by someone else a year or two later).
This game has been in development for 5 years already and there's seemingly no end in sight. You'd think that the dev would've figured out most of the design problems by the time they went about doing what's essentially a remake and streamline the development as a matter-of-fact and yet it's still missing things that should obviously be there and already were in the first game.
So yeah, I guess, it's mostly about unfinished gameplay.

No idea about a "friendlier" UI, though, it took me way too long to figure out how to go to the town to be considered "friendly". Maybe you meant to say "easier on the eyes"? But even that is wrong, the first game's UI was easier to figure out, navigate and looked better.
Not to mention clear inconsistency in design, for example, most windows/screens have an [X] in top right corner, but Work tab has a huge "BACK" button in the middle at the bottom for no apparent reason. Also I'm pretty sure one of the main menus outright doesn't have any button to back out of it and you have to ESC out of it.

Some suggestions:

1) Get rid of gatekeeping resources behind story progression. It wasn't there before, it doesn't need to be there now. Nothing is gained from this decision but player frustration.

2) Again, chuck all the convoluted training mechanics and just have a training room. Assign people to it like a job. Done.

3) Mind control magic has less effect than compliments or scolding? Then why waste all the time & energy learning it? Needs a serious buff.

4) Mages need at least one basic ranged magic attack that doesn't require mana points. Every RPG out there has this.

5) Auto-assign best tool for current job from inventory. If not doing a job that requires tools, put current tool back in inventory. Micromanaging tools is annoying.

6) Headgirl should have an option to let her reassign worked to whatever she thinks they're best at or what is needed the most, based on inventory. Out of food? Send someone to get more food. Or buy some from the market. Low on cash? Sell surplus from inventory.

7) Service job assignment should not require jumping thru UI hoops.

8) Post battle dialog covers prisoner buttons. Have to wait for everyone to get done talking to examine prisoners. Pointless delay.

9) Likewise, buying things from guild upgrades blocks the exit button. Have to wait for banner to clear. Another pointless delay.

10) Leave baby at orphanage? Why? This game has a slave based economy. Sell them for cash.

>working mechanic
<Lets patch it out of the game
>people ask for it
<lets patch worse working version back in
and thus the versions go.
TBH the gameplay is never going to be balanced, too much sandbox freedom for that, and what im expecting from patches is more of the main story and actual ending.

..... clip ...

I think you can set this up in custom start. There is already an option to start with all the gateway resource farms unlocked

What are the requirements for Master Acknowledgment for the slave training? It stays red despite enough Loyalty Points?

Unique slaves (Daisy, Cali, etc.) may have quest requirements to unlock certain trainings. Some of those quests are timed out to start so many days after the previous quest was finished, and the quest itself tends to be pretty clear that the training is completed by the descriptions of what is going on with the slave. If it's a random slave you found/bought, then that may be a bug.

I think you need that much reputation in multiple guilds, so that they would agree to you as a compromise candidate.

IIRC First Step after you hit 300, then the next day you get a message to go to the Servants' Guild, then it completes when you talk to Amelia.

What happen if two slave hate/rival eachother a long time?
And what if they hate me the player? Is there a rebellious system?

They seemingly can't hate/befriend/love you.
It just adds a passive bonus. Health Regen for a friend, Mana regen for a lover, productivity bonus for rivalry. That's seemingly it.
Btw I sure am glad to get a daily update that the girls who have been rivals on day 10 are still rivals on day 1110. Can't have enough popup windows with pointless text for a pointless system that adds nothing but more clutter, ever...

On a different note, does anybody know the current story end? I was visiting the Outer District, had Kuro leave with a key after I passed the wisdom check, now it says "seach the hideout" but I don't know how (no map movement there, no new location but the Outer District, no search option or anything?), so it feels like a to-be-continued-after-another-pointless-system-rework situation .. anybody can confirm?

You need to do the "search" in the work menu. You need a character in that place and a new work on the menu will open.
So is:
Stay on the place>Go to the mansion menu>Work Menu>Select the place you have the character>Do the Exclamation mark work>Done

Game is slow as fuck the more time advances. No idea why, I don't have character or item bloat.

For me it doesn't matter how much time advances.
It was noticeable in runs on older versions of the game, before Classes started slowing things down too.
The moment I have enough Classes or Mastery Points though, Pass Time & Save performance tanks.

Do Mana Siphon was still useful enchant, I use physical skill but i don't gain any mana even multi target
Nope, absolutely not. It does nothing.
Doesn't matter if it's a physical skill or a standard Attack.
Nothing. Nada. The big 0.

I counter this by using Soul Eater, Blood Mage & Healing Light.
  • Devour Spirit (Soul EaterDebuff)
    • +20% MP (To Caster) on death of target
    • 0 Turn cooldown, no MP cost
  • Blood Magic (Blood MageSelf-"Debuff")
    • -10% HP on Cast for ~2x MP
      • At 256 Max HP, it recovered me from 76 MP (Max 146) to 135. Cost of 25.6 HP, recovery of 59 MP
      • Can only be used 4x per day
  • Healing Light(Mastery 1 Light Spell)
    • 130% M.ATK as Heal, or Damage to Undead enemies
    • Low MP cost (6), 2 Turn cooldown
Works regardless of your specific archetype (Mage, Warrior, Hybrid, etc.), since it functions primarily on debuffs, and only 1 spell has any M.ATK requirement.
