Aaaaand it's gone. Yesterday it hanged when saving (even after giving it a couple of hours). That after advancing several quests :sadface:
For anyone interested room space could be improved through editing game files too.
Go to <game directory>\src\core
open variables.gd with notepad
Find
var population_cap_per_room_upgrade
or var base_population_cap
and change values as needed
for me works better as after editing save file game throw error at me all the time i opened a upgrade window.

I wish dev would clean up his codes a bit. Previous game, even though simpler, was a breeze but this game is way too heavy to run, especially if you have more than 20 slaves doing tasks. Heck, even idle slaves sold to the market bloat the save and make game run real slow that whole week (until deletion comes next week)
And I'm not even sure if saves would de-bloat at all, that's just my wild guess

Edit: Nevermind, I was stupid.
These Mods are for Strive for Power 1 not for Conquest.
I have an Issue: Mods are not showing up.
I am using linux and want to install Ankmaidors bugfix and arics expansion. (also the imagepack later on)
The files are extracted to .local/share/Strive for Power 2/mods and are not in a subfolder.
The game has rwx permissions.
Game version is 0.12.0a
No errors in any log files.
It is an fresh install.
Has anyone an idea, how to fix this?
My best guess would be that it has to do with case sensitiveness,whitespaces or the mods being only compatible with windows.
But I would not know how to fix any of this, except using wine or lutris and the windows version.

people say i need soul stone to remove traits, but where to find it? high level dungeon? which one?
why "ask to marry" if i already married to her? and why "ask to marry" another girl if can have only one wife?
They've had real problems with this since around version 10. Something broke with the save file code and they don't know how to fix it. I strongly recommend turning off autosaves until they figure it out (if ever), it should help a little.
I did, and then when I tried to manually save the game died and lost last hours of gameplay. I haven't come back to play it since.

the memory leakage thing was still a problem that i don't know about when i first played this game, nothing was wrong with my pc but apparently playing it just caused that problem and i had no choice but to delete it and reinstall win 11 to fix, a real shame that i don't wanna risk playing it again unless they try to fix it or not
Making the game more of a grind makes absolutely no sense, because there's no time limits beyond (ironically) the tutorial loan payments. Once you get to Act 1 you can spend years of game time mucking around before even looking at the main questline, though they try to push you into doing it now by locking out certain mining points. Combat is still a joke; push aoe nuke buttons to win, because they only cost like 5-10 mana for some reason when they should cost 50+.

Do you even understand what memory leakage means at this point? What is your initial idea of reinstalling OS? The game runs absolutely fine.

Does someone know what Myrs prefered Wine is?
I always want to get her one on the first meet, but there was none in older versions of the game.
Now we have wine, but the dry and sweet ones I was able to buy on the first day are not the prefered ones.
My best guess would be to first do the dungeons and stuff to find another one or maybe there is some in the elven capital that she likes (would make sense, since she is an elf.)
So you probably have to wait for a long time before even visiting the mages guild.
Also does someone know what an effect this would have?
Is she datable or recruitable or is this planned for future game versions?
Besides Amelia she is my most liked guild chief.
Also what is going on with the loan payments?
As far as I know, the last one is Week 15 30000 gold (when not canceled), but in the first dialouge it was said, you owe the bank 100,000 gold.
Is this just a balancing thing or is it planned to extend the loan payments in future game versions?

thats literally what i just said, i reinstalled win 11 and downloaded the iso for it, and as for that memory leakage issue, could you really blame me for describing it as memory leakage? i get an error application and after clicking ok the game closed itself, opened it again and this time i only kept the game running with no other apps running in the background and it never showed that error again or crashed, this was last year by the way, whenever i decide to play other games, just a few minutes in and i started having issues with them, they start to close down on me as well (i didn't even have the game running along with other applications), reinstalling win 11 got rid of that issue and i didn't want to play it again anymore, this is why i was hesitant to play it again because i suspected that this game was the problem that caused it, just because you said it runs well (in your case) doesn't mean it will be the same for most people like in my case when i first played it but if you claim that it runs fine then can you vouch for me?, i don't know what else you want me to say, this is what happened when i played the game, if you think im making this up then go check this post out, at least i'm not the only one who pointed that out obviously

theirs was a different problem but they also mentioned a good sized leak about memory, coincidence? i'm still hesitant to play it again after what my pc went through so can you really blame me? if there's more than one person (like you) saying that it runs fine now then i'll give it another try and take your word or their word for it
