Are there no sex mods for this? I can't check the likes of Itch because I live in the shitty UK and don't have a VPN atm. Game is decent but yeah the sex in the first one was wayyyyy better I don't know why they just haven't touched it all this time. Even little adjustments here or there would be nice.

Unless it is something very recent, then no. I wish they remade the system completely at some point so there is some sense of continuity in the scene. The mentioned era games did it great. So did a certain infamous (for other reasons) java game based on transformation kink.
Not even fully implementing it. Just a a basic moddable frame would be enough. Make it static so modders do not get frustrated having to fix stuff every update and the community will take care of the rest. Idk, could be configurable via external files with preset structure for specific scenes and actions available in each with nice, clean way to define requirements and effects of every action.
I've seen the game code. It's nothing that would be beyond the dev's skill and in certain way simpler than what he/she is doing now.
So I only played the original game, is this a continuation or some sort of alternate universe? Why is Cali here again?

Interesting haven't heard of these Era games before. Not always in to stuff that's almost 100% text based but if it's written well and has good variety it can be awesome, thanks for the suggestion.

No it is different but for the sex, sex is done mostly like the other game but getting to it must be unlocked first by making the npc's like you a lot.
Most of the time if there is a cheat code it will be on the OP so maybe go look there before asking for one.
This goes for all games/VN that may have cheat codes.

How is this Tower of Dreams supposed to function because it seems like all my characters are both in the tower and in the mansion at the same time? Not sure if that's intended or if something has bugged between versions for me

Did you even try it, its been the same code since day one of the first strive game and its still the code for the update on the OP.
You should try something before trying to say its not right.

can confirm that the vikingfile mirror is telling me that there is a virus, pixeldrain however does not
The Tower of Dreams is basically an endless dungeon you can access from the mansion.
All Units that are inside the mansion are also in the Tower
Would you say it's worth it vs the original or should I wait a little longer for polish, story, etc?
This game has been created since 6 years ago. Gonna have to wait a long time for it to be finished.
I discovered the problem, when i updated the game i just put over the previous game folder, somehow it created a problem the cheat stoped working, i deleted the game folder and after extracting again it worked somehow.
Anyone reckon this game will ever allow you to add animated content to it for the characters? Like animated profile pics, or body images? Either by uploading gif or mp4s? Asking because there's a game called Brothel King that will let you upload just about anything to the characters' profile, even multiple, and even has a method for pulling images/videos in accordance with the scene, and while I don't expect this game to upend its code to allow for such specific use cases as that, I really wish a mod or something would allow you to upload gif/mp4s. Preferably mp4s or something else that has high quality and low file size.
I only say this because I have gotten into using AI on my own system for making nsfw loop animations and while I'm far from perfect with them (there's the typical noticeable imperfections if you're looking for them) I would say A: Most of the imperfections are not noticeable when you're just glancing at them as you navigate menus or interact with the game, and B: I think animated content makes the game feel a lot more alive. Especially when you create a framework whereby people can upload the content themselves and allow for imagepacks and what not to bypass the expectation for devs themselves to create it.
For an example of what I'm talking about, here's a still image that I took from the artist Jack Cayless / Rapscallion and used AI on my own hardware to animate. It's not perfect but I think it's neat that a complete bozo like me can go from still image to this:

Wait is bestiality in this one or is it just the old game? I haven't seen any options for it but people talked about it in the thread before
