That's why you get the option to have multiple saves... Save before a choice then you can go back and try the other option.

I keep having problems with MC's name and the relationships being reset to default somewhere in episode 1. It doesn't matter if I enter the relations manually or by using the patch. Initially I thought it was because of the walkthrough mod, but a fresh install without the mod gives the same result only later in episode 1. When I try to manually edit the savefile I cannot find the appropriate variables. Are they stored in the persistent file?

Furthermore I noticed that entering the relationships for Macy's circle also affects the relationships within Anna's circle to the extent that Mel is also called Ellie (my name for Elliana).

I remember that when I read an earlier version of this AVN I had the same problems. I am really curious as to why the dev choose this route and did not opt for a separate relationship file. I am also wondering why there is no possibility to split the relationship between the MC and Angelina and the MC and Macy/Reyna/Jessie, so that Angelina/Macy/Reyna/Jessie could be MC's step family by MC's dad remarrying with Angelina. Of course without affecting Anna's circle. Currently the MC/Macey/Reyna/Jessie all have the same relationship with Angelina.

Looks like the relationship variables , at least those of the "codex" are stored in the savefile. (store.variable). To decode the variables I can use the file called CC.RPY. Hopefully manually editing the savefile keeps the AVN from resetting MC's name and relationships.

One of the first things it does is ask you what you want the MC's name to be. I suspect you probably accidentally skipped over that in frustration due to all of the crazy questions leading up to it about you taking responsibility for everything under the sun.

So whatever MC's dad told MC was bullshit and MC's family doesn't actually have even a single % of share in the company?

Anna + Her family have 46% of shares right now, some colleagues' of grandfather have 24% shares, who owns the rest of the shares?

Why did those unknown people give Anna's family shares?

Right why does it also feel like Diana/ Bella Knows more than she lets on, I think Bella is mad at Frank for not giving her the company. plus I think she owns the (secretly owns 24% (unknown company))
1. feels like they are going to use MC until they complete control over the company because women aren't allowed to run it, Will either try to trick girls by saying the only way to help MC if give us their percentage and then to MC but realistically Bella will keep it.
2. Depending on MC's relationship with Diana she will either betray MC and feel guilty or work behind the scenes and betray Bella and help MC and their family
or
3. They both help because they care. (don't really see it because Diana is still acting weird and Bella feels also like a villain,) the way she snaps at Marvin's son and Marvin shows she tired of men not listening to her.

mine did the same thing I fixed it by
1. download a fresh copy of the game
2. put your saves folder in
3. copy over Walkthrough mod( if using it)
4. then copy over the incest patch (if using it)
then start the game and load it when Anna dressed for the event in her room

note 1: if don't work try playing Art event without Incest/ WT mod
Note 2: For some reason, either WT or incest affects it.

Abs don't work that way. They do no show through shirts like it does with this games mc. Stop it. It's also crazy that the animations just reverse instead of just starting over or them being extended.
