I can understand your frustration, and updates don't come out quickly either. I think it will be a great game when its fully released. For now its just a lot of building relationship which I can appreciate considering majority of these H games sex happens pretty quickly. Additionally its nice to see new art. A LOT of games on here are just the same models used just different game >.<

yeah it's really unfortunate this game looks really great and has top tier potential if only it had payoff for the grind (AND ANIMATED SCENES)

That is generally why visual novel devs stick to RenPy. Not much reason to make a game like this in Unity if you aren't used to it already.

Honestly, you can even do a bunch of complex coding in Ren'Py if you want to. The primary limitation is the runtime speed of Python, but that only matters with larger data sets, which most porn games won't have anyway.

I'm writing code for a harem simulator prototype in Ren'Py at the moment and I'm realizing just how much I can do with Python: exploration, inventory, items, vendors, economics, state management, and most importantly: emotional and behavioral AI for the NPCs.

Unity might be better if you need the runtime speed of a low- level language, but that's definitely not the case here.

No, dev just makes huge updates instead trickling down small updates to keep us entertained. I personally dislike it when devs do that but idk, maybe they have their reasons.

Dev is just slow. Update size doesn't justify how long it takes. The stupid mistakes they've made in the build don't help their case either.
