WTF did u smoke? That game sucked from the gameplay itself (acceptable) and the sex scenes are dull loops.............. plenty indie games have higher quality!
but u are famous for defending producers with the lamest excuses..... so no surprise LOL
I wanted to watch Rachel gets Banged and womb blasted by monsters like the short that was produced *10 years ago: hinted in Kunoichi movies!

With Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and their newfound experience with Unreal Engine (The whole point of Subverse) imagine if they remade their Kunoichi series with the new models. Although I don't think Kasumi appears in NG2.

Half the point, we were gonna get a game eventually (it was a milestone goal on the patreon). Being removed from the site just prompted them to go at it on a larger scale. The other establishes their own IP
I just started to wonder what happened to StudioFOW after their Patreon was axed.
I did not know they've been making a game (for almost 6 years) and kind of quit making movies.
After 2 hours of reading 96 PAGES of comments on this sub, my conclusion is this:
- StudioFow was kind of shady with their promises in the past (i would not call them scammer, it seems harsh), but now I feel bad for them (and upset too).
- I think they SEVERELY UNDERESTIMATED how hard is it to make a good game (an Indie-level game, not even AA-level game). They asked for $150K just to make a 20-30 hour long porn game, with gameplay and interactive porn section ? This seems like close too a 1 - 1,5 millions dollar in budget for it to turn out good (which they claimed their game was unlike any other porn games on the market).
- Then they hit jackpot with Kickstarter, more than $2 millions in funding, I think they thought that they could treat themselves with those extra cash, (bigger office, better "render" computers - in reality I think they just buy the best gaming PC at that time, shoes, clothes, having a party to celebrate,....) I think they actually tried to please fans (old and new) with a better road map and better things for their game.
- However, I absolutely believe when they actually started to make the game they realized they were fucked with all those promises, because making a game is MUCH HARDER THAN MAKING A MOVIE. So they started to scale the game WAY DOWN, stretched out more time for coding, experimenting, modeling,..... and it started to make a mental toll on them (I 100% believe they mismanaged the fund for some stupid things they didn't need).
- And now after the game is "FINISHED", it was mediocre compare to their previous works. They can't make another game without funding, half of their fanbase don't seem to like their OC that much compare to their previous works and their reputation is tarnished.
- Going back to make movie is either a desperate move or they are delusional to think people will give them huge amount of money just to make short films.
- I also 90% believe Mr. Weeaboo is an alt account of VValen, now Deleted member 324588 lol.

Maybe I was wrong about the last line. But StudioFOW is a shady (and used to be competent) group and they are desperate right now, are things which everyone with a brain can see.
And this is my last reply to you, because from what I can tell there is no way to take away your copium that you're sniffing from their asses.
But feel free to reply to me for your extra "internet argument victory", though I won't reply back because I could care less about you, StudioFow and $150 I support them few years ago because they promised to make a Jessica's movie after a poll, because what's done is done.

Cope would imply something went wrong, when by all metrics this project was a success. I don’t need to make excuses. Sure the development was rough for a first time game, but name one project that went 100% according to plan.
You’re welcome to not reply, that’s the world we live in. But I would note that Jessica sequel, along with all the other projects we left in the SFM period, are meant to be brought up to the current engine. So instead of the incredibly dated flicks of the past, we’ll see substantially better films in the future.

At this rate, human could colonize Mars before they release a full 15-20 minutes movie lol.
So over the past few weeks I put in some time to make full subs for a chunk of the movies and one of the shorts. Just the ones I liked the most and didn't mind spending time meticulously picking over (I would've killed myself if I'd tried to do it for Mila Red Riding Hood). Those ones were [FOW-002] Kunoichi - Broken Princess, [FOW-005] Kunoichi 2 - Fall of the Shrinemaiden, [FOW-006] Beastly Bacchanalia, [FOW-009] Nightmare - Code Valentine, [FOW-013] First Assembly, [FOW-014] Severance, [FOW-015] Ghosts of Paradise, [FOW-016] Kunoichi 3 - Dark Butterfly, and Cassandra’s Captivity
Subs should be mostly correct, but a few of the lines were garbled, clipped, or otherwise overwhelmed by the BGM or SFX. For Kunoichi 1 & 2, the srt's just have the English lines, as the Japanese was already hardsubbed in (though I included one or two more ancillary porno lines I'm sure everyone can already translate themselves).
For Severance, I made three versions. All have full English subs, but differ in how they display the French lines: one has the just French lines themselves transcribed, one has just the English translations of them, and one that shows both at once. Aside from those French lines for Severance, and the Kunoichi 3 subs, all are entirely my own work.

As is for Kunoichi 3, I had to manually time everything working off the hardsubbed version, and had to apply a bit of editing as some English lines had the wrong words and some of the Japanese translations were awkward. I also suspect some translations could use a second opinion, and some appear to have been skipped or timed incorrectly. But it's not only very difficult to make out those lines, when they are easy to make out, many of those lines are a bit strange to begin with so it's hard to blame the original translator here. Either way, they are what they are and they are better than nothing.

Q: Did you contact Studio FOW for it, like a normal person?

Q: Well how did you get it then?
A: I definitely didn't clip out parts of the movie, run them through an online AI website that strips out vocals, have to scrape my network for the pieces of the output since you need an account to download the result normally, remerge those pieces back into a single track through another service, then run that through AHA. Though as it happens, if I wasn't going to do one thing, the one thing to not do was not listen to the Shadow Warrior 2 OST, since a little more than half of the tracks are just from that.
And I also didn't do this for the trailer.
Just like with the subs, don't plan on not doing this for any of the other releases they didn't bother putting out the tracklists for. That is,

Holy fucking based batman. I remember trying to look so hard for that celldweller song. Still has a pavlovian response for me though.
While most of their crowdfunding projects on Throne website are actually at 0%-1%, I don't think it resemblance the actual number (I mean the goal was for $50k-$80k which I think is impossible, especially after what they have done with their game, I think they just set the goal high so once when it's reached certain amount they can actually do it (just like what they said on their crowdfund description "Once a certain stage of funding is reached, we will collaborate with the backers to decide film length and themes").
I'm just guessing everything here, no actual knowledge or insight on all these tho, still think it would take them a long way to get back doing some more movies anyway since they are still busy with their game lol.
Wish they come back to make movies tho, their films actually feel more interactive and has more soul than their gif-player game (such an irony, sadly)
