I don't know if the dev is around here or if it's been brought up already but while I was setting up saves I found a few issues. There is a missing or misnamed image during Vi's "first time" if it's after the trip and for a few renders in the club McNab has his old haircut.

Hello beautiful people.
Hope you're having a lovely week so far. Hopping on as we return to our regular schedule here.
It's always a little weird switching gears from release mode crunch back into the starting phase of the next update, but in the next few days I'll uploading a final version with various fixes and that should keep us stable until we get our next update.
Nothing super exciting this week, fairly usual early update stuff, finding and building sets, looking for models for new characters all that boring technical stuff. This update is fairly light on that sort of stuff so it should be a pretty easy process.
Not much else on the dev end , spent some time catching up on customs owed and other various responsibilities.
After update QnA will be this Saturday the 6th. 1pm Pacific/4pm Eastern. Open to all feel free to drop in I'll be around for a few hours I'll answer questions chat and maybe do a little art streaming.

The Els sex scene in question is from Part 6, so you're not in the latest update yet at that point in the game. The new Part 7 content begins once everyone arrives home from Mallorca.

True but they aren't used up to this point so who knows. Other than the friend/love variables for the LIs none of them are used with the exception of Els' trust. Amrit's confidence all of the interest in girls and all of Ines' specific variables never come in to play anywhere in the game. They're just there.

And that non-use of those variables is a bit frustrating in games like this. I completely understand the decision to not close off routes, and to prevent multiple renders from being needed for every scene after a certain choice. So it's certainly not possible to use them in a lot of situations without a ton of extra effort. However, those scores could be used to alter some character personalities with minimal added work. For example, the "interest in girls" variable you mentioned. Let's consider Amrit for a minute, since she has the highest score possible for this particular attribute. And using that let's brainstorm a bit on the scene in the latest update where she's talking to Ines after Kana visits and then leaves with the MC. The way it is coded in the game is as follows:

i "..."
i "They ...?"
a "Not a clue."
a "I find it's safer not to think about that anymore."

Instead, let's leave the renders showing Ines and Amrit's facial expression the same, and code it as follows:

i "They seem close."
i "..."
i "They ...?"

Another option would be to have Amrit flirt with the other girls directly when she is around them, or if you want to keep it MC-focused add some extra dialog like:

    a "Of course [mc]. Tell you what, I'll give Els' boobs an extra squeeze just for you."

Those kinds of things are fairly easy to add in, and they give a lot of extra depth and nuance to characters (LIs become more "dynamic" and less "flat"), make the world feel more lived in and real (because the player is given feedback that they are having an effect on it), and when used well can also build anticipation for future events and sex scenes, which increases the overall enjoyment of the game.

Per the dev on Discord:

I try not punish people for exploring options. In general most girls won't care who you screw unless you've made a commitment to them. Or If you screw somebody they hate, that might put a damper on things.

I've focused primarily on the main LIs, but this has been consistent with my experience. So far, there's a few instances where you might lose a couple love points, but not serious repercussions.

The biggest downside so far I've seen is that there's several instances where you have to pick between which LI to spend time with.

I also think being a man whore without consequences kinda cheapens Cal's character as his development felt a little unearned as you kinda continue being the guy that you were at your lowest but I understand that this would make for a very different game.

Vi and Cal trauma is past history by now, I mean there are still some traumas about it but that was a long time ago. They have learned to live with it and moved on with their lives. Now they're discovering another layer to their relationship, sex and love.
Elspeth route feels like if she sees Carl as her port in the storm. She has ghosts from her past to deal with just like Carl, so yeah, I expect drama there because they're broken.
Last point depends on how you play. I have a save being loyal to Els, Carl's monologues are about how he wants to change when confronted with free pussy and he stays loyal..

It's worth noting that you don't have to have sex the first time it becomes available with the main LIs, so you have some control regarding how fast things get sexually intimate. For example, for Vi if you don't initiate sex in Mallorca she'll eventually initiate it herself after you get home. Only if you reject her then do you end up in the permanent friend zone. Similar branched paths are available for Amrit, Els, and Kana.

I actually just checked, and if you take your time with each main LI, the first time you have sex with each LI is Ch 5 for Amrit, Ch 7 for Kana and Vi, and still haven't with Els. For Ines, we can't really know for sure since her first opportunity for sex (of any form) was in the Ch 7 (the latest release, and it was some oral and thighjob), but it's worth noting if you don't initiate it there, it doesn't toggle any "permanentfriendzone" variable, which is eventually what happens if you reject the others too many times, so it's a pretty safe assumption there will be future opportunities.

For me its less that its necessarily cheapens Valentina's character but it cheapens the LI's characters for me when they just go along with it without any jealousy or serious talks about it.

I dont buy that a woman like Elspeth says: "Okay i really love this man, were going on dates and i introduced him to my rich old money dad, hes still fucking college girls and every other slut in town but im gonna compete with them and win!" ... just nah.

And its a bit unlucky because in theory the avn gives Valentine a reason to be like that, unable to commit because the women he loved died, thats imo a valid reason which could make the LI's be a bit understanding about not trying to pinpoint him.

But non of the LI's know about it, only Vi since mallorca ... i think it would help Els potrayal if she would be aware of Zaina's death and who she was to the Valentine (which she may is, we will see).

It seems extremely unlikely that there will be an ending with consequences that severe for sleeping around pre-commitment, given what I mentioned a few posts ago:

After Reading the L bombs from Els path i dont imagine how to exit that ship.

Maybe the plot is going into Cal+ Els main wife and approved gfs. I cant imagine a organic way to fully reject her after leading to this point.

Having a sad end would be kino for me being a drama queen.
