Hey everybody, did a little remake of an older render to replace a dated one I've used as my final splash screen in updates since the first update, slapping in a bit of a fresh coat of paint. And even I'm aware that Els draws attention so I'm using her to my advantage.
Weekly numbers here, We have about 3197 rendered of the 3409 posed. This is the last "big" multi person scene of the update so hopefully when it finishes the last few can be smooth sailing.
Final scene prep for the last batch of animations is finished up so I can jump right in once stills are finished up.
That's it for update news, now a quick bit of Steam news. Had some folks asking about an official release date, at the moment I don't have one. I'm holding out on a date until I hit around what I'd like for wishlists, for those who aren't aware wishlists are the primary driving figure for getting yourself seen on the incredibly competitive Steam algorithm, you don't have enough you're pretty much DOA on release. Those who've been in my community for a long time know that one of my biggest regrets was rushing the first release of The Author and all the struggle that came with it, thus I'm not eager to repeat the experience. So that's part of why there isn't a concrete date yet, but I assure you, you'll be the first to know when there is.
Obligatory plug here, if you haven't wishlisted I would be ever so grateful if you did. Even if you don't intend to purchase just the wishlist helps me more than you can ever know.

I have a fun idea for some rewards if I hit my goals, but I'm working out some details on that.
Now besides the wishlist I'm also waiting on some translations to come in so there's also that. Finished up the new soundtrack, I'm fairly happy about that and achievements are all finished up. So it's not all bad news.
Enough selling from me I'll wrap things up here. I'll be having an art stream for Blue Belts and up this Sunday the 16th at 1pm Pacific time, expect spoilers.

Timejumps should totally happen. They make sense in this VN as a fighter is not supposed to fight every month. MC needs a couple of fights to become champion and then fight Alistair (or maybe some other guy in case Alistair reinjures).
Also, I think the frenchie will look even better with shoulder-length hair. Some of the alternative hairs used for when her hair is "wet" already kind of gives you an idea of how she could look.

TBH, she probably would look good with anything but I think the short hair look suits her. I kinda like it and I usually prefer long hair.

This is easily one of the best Renpy games I've played.
The girls are all gorgeous and unique looking.
The sex scenes are quite good.
One thing that stood out with me that I think I like is that the game doesn't give you a pass on being promiscuous, but it also doesn't absolutely beat you over the head about it. There is a steadily increasing expectation that if you continue to sleep with a girl (unless she very clearly only wants to hook up) you will eventually become exclusive. I wouldn't expect this sort of level-headed behavior IRL, but in a hentai game it feels nice for an experience that is obviously not intended to go full harem.
