Another gameI could swear I asked before but I'm not seeing anything about it so I'll ask now: The poster on the wall when you tell Amrit about Kana, group of four girls "The Minges". Is this a reference to another game or did he just throw a couple models together for an in-universe show/band/etc?

You don't need to. But it adds a bit of context to the some characters. I played Unbroken first and then Author and enjoyed it nonetheless.Do i need to play STWA The Author before this or the 2 game are unrelated?
The MCs in these games know each other, so they are in the same time frame. But the references from this one to the last are negligible, and there is no prerequisite for playing this one.Do i need to play STWA The Author before this or the 2 game are unrelated?

If you play the first one and like it, you will definitely like this one - it's better, at least in my opinion.
I actually tried to play but I never seem to be able to go with the flow. Author lacks the visual quality of Unbroken, but that's not it. I'm not hooked by the story, like I am with Unbroken. If you play the first one and like it, you will definitely like this one - it's better, at least in my opinion.
Same, I ended up ditching The Author as I just wasn't getting invested in the story or any of the characters. Really enjoying Unbroken though.I actually tried to play but I never seem to be able to go with the flow. Author lacks the visual quality of Unbroken, but that's not it. sounds like what happens when you saved with a mod and tried opening the save without the mod, or vice versa. i know in one game i switched mods and had to start from beginning cause that killed all my saves. now when i am playing a game with mods, i dont download updates til the mods been updated as well, otherwise im constantly starting over cause my saves are jacked.Roger that. Good looking out Elduriel. My save loads just fine but it doesn't continue to the Part 7 content. Maybe I made the save too late and can run up a slightly older one. Thanks again!
only tie between these 2 games is that author's mc and his wife appear briefly at start, no impact on game.Do i need to play STWA The Author before this or the 2 game are unrelated?
The Author is throuple endings with multiple LIs together; like Viridiana and Ines.hey everyone, I know this isn't a harem type game but I sure wish it was...all the women are beautiful and sexy in their own way but I'm trying to narrow down my choices for when it's time to decide...I find Kana extremely stunning with her beautiful blue eyes and her intimacy is very sexy...Elsbeth is my second choice...very beautiful and even though Kana's body is sexy Elsbeth's body is perfect...she's a little bossy but she makes up for it with how well her and MC read each other and knows what each is thinking(good chemistry) but in the end it will be very very difficult but my choice will probably be Kana because of her beautiful blue eyes...everyone's opinion would be greatly appreciate!!!
And I also made a tier list of LIs for myself:To add to the throuple discussion:
I am more of a "all of the above" type of guy in most AVNs, but there are some games, including Unbroken, where the protagonist just catches me. I mean, that's the real reason behind the existence of creative works like novels, theatre, cinema etc.
So, I won't go after anybody but Elspeth, on my main play. However...
There's something about Ines that I dig. She's beautiful, just like every other girl in the game, but there's more to it. And we just found out where that was going: We can make Ines either a sub or a self reliant woman. I'm sure there will be many benefits of both choices but for me, a good sub is always welcome.
Though, I'm not sure how Elspeth would react to Ines, I'm not sure. She looks like she can accept Vi, because of our history and her resemblence with herself, but other than that... I don't think Els would go for a fellow wife.
There are clear favourites for throuples, like explained before:
Vi-Ines: they are quite open to each other about their actions and intentions, and they obviously don't mind sharing Valentine.
Kana-Amrit: Now this is super easy. Super obvious. Amrit would be the perfect protege, and pet for both. Though I don't like them together because they look almost the same. It's like being involved with twins, one of which is about 10 years younger than the other.
Elspeth-Viridiana: Same problem with the last sentence, except the height difference, of Kana-Amrit team. I mean, what's the point of having two wives, if they look and act almost exactly the same?
Amrit-Ines: That can work, but both are late teens. Also eventually they'd develop egos. A champion fighter and an multi talented academic... They feel like water and oil. This would be hella tiresome for Valentine for sure.
Wow, I was with you until you called Elsie scrawny, that woman is anything but scrawny.Uhh.... you do realize that scene is about how Valentine's subconscious is aware that Elspeth is a liar? And that he thinks she's the opposite of him? And he's worried that she could be a danger to him and the people he cares about?

It's one of the best reasons to avoid Elspeth.
Is she an active duty intelligence officer who has been given orders to spy on Valentine?
No? Well then she's just a creep.
See that part right there? That's the provocation we've been accusing Elspeth of.
The idea that she could intimidate them by boasting about her service record is incredibly stupid. How would they know if she's telling the truth? They don't have acess to her military records, and she certainly doesn't look intimidating at all, so of course they're going to think she's full of shit. All they see is a scrawny woman insulting them and boasting about how easily she could beat them up.
Her actions ensured that the fight would happen.

And I also made a tier list of LIs for myself:
S - Elspeth (she's the one)
A - Ines (she'd be the best one if not Elspeth)
B - No one here
C - Amrit (she's an airhead jock but not the worst since many coaches marry/fuck their trainees)
D - Kana (her whole existence is a mockery to what Valentine is, apart from loyalty stuff)
E - Serena and baker chick (just FWB)
F- None
T(oxic) - Viridiana (too much baggage, too incestious)
Now, I enjoy some incest in AVNs but this isn't the game for that. This is a much more realistic than almost all other AVNs. Besides I think fucking the little sister is quite contradicting to Valentine's honour code.
