Not gonna lie but that is the case, the only reason why I still hold out for Zion is that I know that he IS working on SC. That said it's pretty much apparent that better time and product management is needed. Devs with longer release cycles should aim for 3-4 months, 5 months tops or risk abandoning the game. I don't see this game as deserving the abandoned tag (saw recently someone argue for an "in-limbo" tag for works that are in dev hell, etc). At the same time I don't dispute is at 3 months of ratio silence or a 1 year of no release while on the phone will warrant it. I agree that WS and EC should have been games that came after chapter 5 was done but while in the middle of making a game is risky during development.
Look dude, whatever his intentions are, there could have been a 4.1, 4.2 release fixing all the bugs from chapter 4 or add all succubus to the gallery. It's not like he would have redo this work in chapter 5. It just shows his true intentions was to milk his patreons as much as he could.

Just because I am willing to give a bit of extra leeway does not mean it's limitless, You can only stretch the goodwill and patience of the fans so far. In fact Zion was working on reworking the lore as well among other stuff so for you to say he has been milking his Patreon is a bit off the mark. if you made your argument less out of being butthurt over the lack of updates and more to warn people about a grifting dev it have had far more merit.
My favorite succbus is desdemona i hope she kinda remind mind of Kenpachi, unlike him she's evil cuz she was born as a succbus but i think her personality is much more complex. She seem to only enjoy killing the strong while sparing the weak not by kindess, but to her desire to become the strongest. I'm in love with her. I hope she gets more content . (Sorry for my bad english)

Okey... Maybe it explain why take so long to develop Ch.5. The game hasn't been abandoned, just a "big project" that needs years to complete. People who complain "it take so long" are because they haven't made a game in RPG Maker MZ so they don't understand it may take 5-10 years to make a RPG game. Counting from the year SC released, 2021, 2 years are actually not enough to develop a full RPG game.

I don't see a DEMO or video of CH.5 gameplay during these years(Maybe just I missed it, or higher patreon supporters can have something other people don't know).Not abandoned, the game is still under development, but Just wish it's not going to be another "The Day Before". That Really scare people bro. Be patient.
I am more interesting in their annual project, it focus on one succubus grow from tiny girl to tall-busty mama.

Stop simping, boy it's just using rpg maker drag and drop assets everywhere hes not creating a game engine, 90% of the work is from commission of various artists at this point depends on how much Zion is paying them. About music he just grabs free non-copyright ambient music, he could have finished the succubus covenant ch.5 or whatever a long time long but he decides to milk the popularity and make side projects.
