The whole not being able to save is literally ruining this game for me.

It's a bug. We changed the saving plugin to add more features to it and if you play on the prologue, it forbids you from saving.

My suggestion is: Play the prologue and then start another game by skipping it
Skip the prologue: If you don't want to know what happens in it.

Sorry about that. It was an unforeseeable event for me.

With animations gone it's very important to offer nice CGs and quality text.

this is actually a good thing because moving cgs up and down is no "animation"
it just looks weird/odd in most cases...

Cool, that answers the main question I had. Thought I was having a stroke remembering a dream state gallery without one being around.

New art is gorgeous, just too bad animation had to get dumped. But since it's necessary to move this game forward at a reasonable pace, fine by me. Hope saves from Ch 4 move clean to Ch 5, even with a cheated stat line and a million gold it still took 7.5 hours.

So if this game has animation can pull it off why cant SC do the same

-Succubi have all their powers reset when they go back to Hell after having their physical form destroyed. They will go back to "the end of the line" so to speak.

-If that succubi had power, she'll be humiliated by the succubi she once commanded and they will make sure she's never going to rise again, because they know of her potential.

-If she had a bad relationship with the new duchess, now that she is powerless, she might be treated terribly, to the point of exiled, like Nemorosa, from Warlock Saga, who stole the whip of lady-black horn and faced the wrath of the Duchess Rafflesia.

-She'll lose access to all her commodities, like feeding on the best males, servants, influence, connections, power. This alone is a nightmare, literally hell to any succubi.

-In a way, it would be for the better to have a "final death".

-And yes, up until now, there is no way of completely destroying an angel or succubi. They will always go back to Heaven/Hell to take form once again, but with all their powers reset.

Oh wow, death sounds like an incredible pain for a succubus. Will MC ever fight a succubus in hell I wonder... I would love to see plotline where we re-fight succubi but this time, see them as partially re-formed monsters. The contrast between referencing their past dialogue and what they would say in hell would be amazing. Not to mention being ridden by them but this time while seeing their true form.
