I feel like my post was heavily misunderstood. Yes, every single person "can say that" of course. As was stated in my post, however, it was simply for me to express what I felt as opposed to trying to make a logical point to "defeat an argument". There were "logical arguments", such as how these succubi aren't actual succubi, but that was just for comparison sake for my expression of my feelings.

Some people post to try to make a point to cause a change, mine was just airing a grievance I had. It'd be pointless to basically say "I don't like this fetish" and just say bye, which...is what I didn't do and this statement implies that I did this, and stating "I can say this too" feels unnecessary due to this.

This game was created for people who enjoy energy drain and dangerous succubi.

Will be easier for me to say short and condense here; no chance of survival isn't always necessary for something to be dangerous. And I am a fan of drain type succubi, this concept is not new to me and the way it is incorporated here is just simply an interesting twist for me, and it has been done before without the need for "I turn you to vegetable without chance of getting out of it". But I digress, I'll just see myself out before I begin arguing semantics, because that wasn't the point of my original post, and I honestly didn't expect you to take this away from my post. The point of my original post was just an expression of my feeling as well as an acknowledgement of the world's amazing lore...which I felt it wasn't taken this way unfortunately. So, no. This won't be just a "porn game". I prefer to say this is a "adult game".

This kind of reminds me of those vintage European movies that manages to have a lot of nudity in them and managing to tell a story without actually being porn (since it doesn't focus on the sex, although it doesn't really try to hide it), if you know who Tinto Brass is, you'll know which movies that I'm talking about.

But with the way SC is structured, sex is something that the MC should be scared about; since he's standing under the Sword of Damocles whenever he's sees an succubus and all it takes is him getting distracted by her "armor" before he's pinned to become her next meal. Sure, he can try to cheat his way out of it by regaining his will (and a health penalty); but it would help if some of the love interests' scenes came out earlier in the next standalone game. Since the main point of the game is bringing back the sex demons to the point where you will die by sex, you might get a better reaction if there's a few more softcore scenes in the next prologue in addition to reminding the audience on how dangerous the demons are. It could range from something innocent as an love interest teasing you to going all the way on the night before your journey begins.

Granted, we have the rogue hiding in a box and the angels being oblivious over their attire; but sometimes people need an carrot on a stick to keep playing, whether it is an growing percentage counter, an in-game tragedy, the smell of gold, or the White Demon going psycho on a guy, in your case.

And yes, sometimes it pains me to just "throw away" an awesome design after the fight is done. I even said that to the artist who does the sprites. "Man... what a pity that they are a one time thing." And this comes from me, the developer lol

I want the love interests development to feel natural. So the first game of an Era will probably just have teasing from them. An ecchi scene or even a temptation, like Medea had in this chapter.

However, expect sex scenes with them from the second game forward, since they already know each other and will take the next step in their relationship.

i feel like combat got waaaay to hard on this one, mainly because everything seems to be faster than you in this one (so the "stun" move is kinda useless when mixed with the fact that it rarely ocurs):

The last orc on the hellish temple strategy seems impossible, it keeps spamming his buffing move and his triple attack move, at that point the player has 225 HP, the triple move can take up more then200 hp alone, so if i attack one turn, i have to use the next turn to heal, but he hits harder than i can possibly heal with the best healing item of the game, so either i take both the turns he takes to attack healing (at which point it's 100% useless since i do not deal damage) or i do the "heal-attack" strategy constantly and he ends up destroying my ass at the end because like it or not he hits slightly harder than i can heal, so i can't counter him in any way.

On the other hand the new Vine Succubus is absolutely annoying: "oh, how nice, she paralyzed me for 3 turns, i have to take one to heal at least after the decimation she dealt to me during that time... wait, that makes 4 turns total, which means i either use Iron Will immediately or i'm fucked (literally), great, 5 turns where i couldn't do jack and she then repeats the same thing... so i can never counter or attack in any way. could it be any worse? oh, yes it can, she is faster than me, i had no opportunity to even heal myself if i am in a pickle (i have to calculate how much damage she will do in the next round before i can use it... not that it matters since if she paralyzes me again i cannot use items either way... ). this while having the mask of poison resistance on, i don't want to even imagine what kind of nightmare that is without it."

I did Every side quest and temple and whole on the ground i could find, i do not believe there's anything i could've done to be stronger or faster, since this game does not allow for grinding. What am i missing? how can i overcome this two foes?!

I think you are using an old save file. Not one from the full chapter 3, where I did an overhaul on everything.

Darvel - makes you immune to paralysis for 5 turns
Mask of Truth - makes you immune to poison
Speed - you should move faster than most of your enemies, specially with some side stuff, but even without it.

My objective is not to drop mindless sex. I want this to be a serious game at the same time it offers sex scenes.

Sex is a natural part of life, so it can happen with the love interests. A young and healthy boy meeting young and health, beautiful girls will most likely result in sex. It's natural.

Succubi prey on that. And so they use their unnatural beauty and magic to seduce and kill you.

This is also the age of invasions, so they are very open about fighting you.

This will change in the next Eras, when they become like the succubi we are use to, hiding then attacking their prey.

It just gives you a game over and the battle is so uninteresting (hence, the save requests). The game mechanics that I pointed out makes battle more exciting and complex. I'm sure the game can still be serious . However, I know now that you want this to be a simple rpg game with story-telling and the occasional sex cg.

I asked him about the women hunters months ago.

Basically, the Hunters mostly recruit men because they tend to deal woth orcs, ogres and such demons, and men tend to be stronger than women in general. The current Succubus invasion took them by surprise and so couldn't prepare women to face them.

And because they mostly recruit from the city stats; due to the age of the setting, women are important to keep a growing population while men are more disposable, so to speak.

And if a hunter gets pregnant, they end up out of commission for months, which is detrimental to the war effort. Zion implies it used to happen often.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for explaining it.

It's a bug. We changed the saving plugin to add more features to it and if you play on the prologue, it forbids you from saving.

My suggestion is: Play the prologue and then start another game by skipping it
Skip the prologue: If you don't want to know what happens in it.
