Oh my God, we've been having this discussion for years.
I just repeated it a few weeks ago.
Zion took the animations out because they required a lot of production time, causing chapters to take several months to come out.
And I know the current pace is glacial, but it would be even worse if animations were still a thing.

I was actually referring to "Succubi" being the plural of succubus rather than "Succubuses".
As for the game, I think we all saw this coming given how ambitious the project was. I don't think Zion is a bad dev, just a good dev who massively over promised. I think he should scale things down and set reasonable short term goals.
Yeah, even though the cg was the same, there always were differences in the 'scene', the writing. Initial temptation, temptation + defeat and the victory scene. This latest succubus? Two of them were the same scene. Not to mention the utter lack of any alternate pose (in the past, succubi used to strike at least one alternate pose before fight and then one more after defeat)
Okay, so I'm checking out Chronicles V5, and I assumed there'd be 5 missions, but nothing happens after I completed mission 2. I can go replay 1 and 2 and there's the forest area, but no 3rd mission appears. Is there supposed to be one? How do I get it if there is?
Oh, there isn't a 3rd mission yet. Zion only added something in that extra forest area, two succubis and one succubus that you can submit to.
how do you win vs the last succubus at the party she attack faster than you and paralyse u 3 rounds i cant attack once
Use the anti-seduction skill and consume the anti-paralyze herb before attending the party.
This game is alive? I remember when it first game out years ago. Is it still being worked on regularly?

The game died long ago when Kainkout decided to leave the project. Have he (Zion) made a conclusion of the overall story? That's the only sensible thing that is left to do, just to finish as quickly as possible and move onto the next thing.
If anyone have some save files just before the new content, please share, can't be arsed to go through all of this once again.

It's not. The main game has not been updated since january 2024. This new "update" is a side project only tangentially connected to the main game.
The main game is dead, and hasn't been updated in over a year now.
