Idk it's on par with the previous animations that the game has. Succubus Covenant fans when they play other porn games and realize their art complaints are more of a standard than they think. Like This game is shit and all but The art even post Kainkout is far from a flaw.

As the previous animator, I'd say the upcoming animation is an improvement and smoother. Though it seems the animations are video based, so there's limit of how much facial expression variation you can put in the game, since creating a variant requires making a new video file. As opposed to normal CG or animating it directly in the game where you can just edit only the face png as many as you like and slap it like this example.
Edit: The cum part looks strange still... Like eating wet noodle then pushing it out before slurping it back again.

I haven't bothered to touch it but I looked at the pictures folder and it looks like it has future tech stuff in it. Hey, remember when Zion said he wanted to make this series several games long, with each game focusing on a different era and a different Clan? Not that I don't appreciate all the extra stuff but the Beast Clan, the Insect Clan, the Shadow Knife Clan, all kind of bled into this when it was supposed to be a more primitive setting focusing on the Plant Clan. Which felt like he was running out of ideas for the Plants. Now, just looking at the pictures, we're getting a future tech setting with just various Clans involved? Because I saw more than Plant in the new stuff. And why are we getting a future tech setting as a side game? Going by his original vision shouldn't it be a distant mainline game instead?

Basically, Zion started this wanting to turn it into a series of games. Each entire game would focus on a specific era and a specific clan of succubi. So ie, the first game is sort of primitive tribal era and focuses on the Leaf Clan. He also thought of the Insect Clan, Beast Clan, Shadow Knife Clan, Elemental Clan, Royal Clan, and I can't recall right off the top of my head what else. iirc dude literally said this would be a several year spanning project, minimum.



In some of the side material(Warlock Saga I think?)there was some stuff about incubi corrupting human women and turning them into succubi, but I don't really pay much attention to the side material.

Whenever I see games with this particular theming, all I can think of is it being literal GoR since fucking the hot women = death. I will never understand porn games that punish you for the porn, I wouldn't be surprised if they were responsible for the market taking such a long time to get any footing since they used to be a lot more common.

If it was at least animated there might be some reason to sit through every slideshow scene's 10+ minutes of badly written sex dialogue that heavily derives from the worst aspects of hentai, but there isn't even that to reward you.

Holy shit he really did just decide to make the Warhammer 40k of succubi. I am in awe at how ridiculous this is. So in short if we're taking his lore and story seriously there's no reasonable way to even win in the end. No victory will actually matter. Really makes the grind feel pointless.

Warhammer daemons are nowhere near as unreasonable as Zion's succubi. They try to trick and tempt people into serving chaos, most of the time. None of the factions engage in wanton, endless murder of everything that moves (yes, even Khorne demons don't spend 24/7 in berserk mode).

I just prefer what we had before for some reason. I can't quite figure out why I just liked it better. Also the fact that Zion flat out said that, unlike when animations were first being done(for every succubus), he's only going to to do specific succubi. ie the only one he said he plans to animate in Cursed Forest being Shiki's in order to honor Shiki. You were animating ALL of them at the start, why be picky and choosy now? And yeah that cum effect doesn't look good at all.

To be fair, It has been awhile since I last played SCC but ye there's improvement. It's just that in the case of this game, I have no strong feelings either way due to the game's art (and porn writing) from day one never appealed to me personally to the point where even the best of Disney's 2D animators let alone someone like Minus8 could get me excited for it. I just think artwise people are too harsh on SCC specifically it's almost as if these people only has played early SCC or some random Renpy game. and because of that had some over heightened expectations when they should be tempered since everyone in this space even the kreme of the Krop are and probably always be somewhere beneath indy due to going into the profession of making a porngame which forfiets any recognition from even most minor studios.

SCC is a really really bad game but I will always die on the hill that the non Kainkout art is serviceable to good hell even better if Warlock Saga is of any indication.

Now that's a shame. Only a select few? Personally I don't mind if the animation quality takes a big hit in order for all succu to get animated. I feel the minions are interesting and diverse enough to get their own polish.

I assume since Shiki's succubus is the last to be added in this version, the updated gallery room will be added at the same time as well?
