Duuuuude...chill. It's a hentai game. Don't expect a very complex rpg. Play it, live with the issues and let the beauties suck you dry, or let it be.
Nah, I don't want it to be complex. I want it to be enjoyable. But this game gets more and more tedious in terms of gameplay. The dev makes it less and less enjoyable gameplaywise with each update. I don't bother to play it without cheats anymore.
I'm fine with sex scenes tho.

Well shit, how else would you like to learn more about the story and lore of the game? Getting a book in your inventory out of thin air that you can study or not? I can already see how people would claim there is no story at all because the inventory resembles their brain, never to be used in life to avoid investing time.
The dev explained several times the level up system was removed to keep a certain difficulty range. The more you explore, the easier it gets. Classic RPG stuff, leveling alone was never the only true option.
There are limits to RPG Maker games and what can be done. Not everyone is a seasoned pro and can bend it to its limits just like that. You might know that already unless this is your first RPG Maker game and you try to act clever now out of need for attention.
It's been 1.5 years since last update. Might as well forget about this game for a couple more years.

Nope, a full game is five chapters, right now we have four chapters. Previously four games (with five chapters each) were planned to complete one era and a total of five eras was the goal.
Due to the long hiatus between chapter four and five and the absurd large scale of the entire project Zion had to cut it down. Now one era gets cancelled (iirc it's the Industrial Revolution era, right between the medieval era and the modern era) and each will have three games with five chapters each.
Basically the original 100 chapters got trimmed down to 60 chapters.
Jesus..., at the current pace we all might not be living anymore when Zion has everything finished. Not to include the fact that most Game developers start to rework old games and scenes after they have upgraded their equipment.
But still...I like the story and would like to play all the 100 chapters. But yeah.. this will take some time.
Zion might not be living anymore before everything is finished.
It's been 4 years since Succubus covenant got posted here. At current pace, it'll take couple hundreds of years to do what Zion planned originally.

fuck, did I seriously get stuck in a fight right around the close of Chapter 4? I'm glad there was a program to add to Darvel otherwise I'd be stuck forever

I finally finished chapter 4 after a few days but it seems like it's missing a lot of content compared to chapter 1 and 2
I know that more content can be added in the future, especially for chapter 4 but this is starting to get repetitive.
Before there were fights with Lesser Succubus in addition to having an XP Level system in each fight which gave reasons to fight them, now it's a bunch of corrupt plants that only give you poisonous items to sell and that's it, the rest of the chapters only have that.
not to mention that when you visit your future base there was a sex scene with Iole proposing to the protagonist and a few other things, now there is no more of that and apparently it happened with the others with a love interest for Prota
Second: I am divided in relation to the arts, I was quite satisfied with the art of kainkout which for me is the best and goes well with the game but other arts ended up appearing and whether or not this can be bothersome because I am curious to know how would it be in such a succubus or in such a scene
this ended up reminding me of The Legend of Queen Opal Origins which has hundreds of arts without any need, just focus on one
Anyway, I'll be looking forward to chapter 5

The XP system was removed for balancing reasons plus Zion explained that the demon hunters are on their physical peak and can't progress further in normal ways. Relics, runes, special food and other items are required to increase the stats.
The striptease scene with Iole got removed on purpose for now due to Zion want to build up the relationship for each love interest first. The scene isn't gone for good but gets added again at a more suitable moment.
A new artist wasn't hired for fun but because Kainkout had a hand injury and couldn't progress anymore. The current artist had a hand injury too, ending in a long hiatus for SC and Zion working on Eden Crest to have something to work on in the meantime.
That's why the art changed. Long story short, Kainkout won't come back for SC artworks so you either have to gewt comfy with the new style or find a better game for you.^^
