I just canceled my pateron support, I was lead to believe chapter 5 was going to come out july or august and now its looking like a demo might be here by november? Going by the discord posts Eden Crest came out late January. Then he switched back to SC immediately and it took him until march to finish the writing and then 4 months of nothing? Seems like he just started building the chapter in gamemaker this month.

I refuse to believe you are being serious. Even some of his diehard cashcows solely care about the succubi and their scenes, nothing else. Game gets carried ONLY by the setting and art. Everything else is meh (writing) to downright terrible (gameplay).
Too much negativity, look at it the other way. Updates come out on time, new interesting content is added, the developer listens to his audience and lives up to their expectations - it's so boring!

I mean, this is hentai game. What else do you expect? We care only about the h-scenes.
Like, sure, the ones with good writing and gameplay exist, but they're even rarer than hen's teeth.
Dont forget about 4months in 2021 before V injure. Zion started EC because of V injure while developing ch5. Look like zion barley touch the ch5 in 2021 too. 4months was also wasted.
I always suspicious about only zion artists injure turn out it is a plot to cover zion lazy ass.

Abandoned tag is used to represent games without an update in a long while, even if the creators are still technically working on them.

Nowadays you can cut the world in "before it was abandoned" and "after it got abandoned".
Not that it helps that much but some discussions about that topic go beyond absurd.
