It has to be understood that the culture over there is most likely very different from where others here live. The higher up you go in life, the more important social status becomes. It happens with the schools you go to, graduating, getting a job, the kind of job, who you talk to, where you go, getting married. These all demand a certain level of respect, honor to one's words, and air about them in which they're viewed. For most people in other places, things like social status and view won't mean much but over there, it's pretty much engrained in day to day life. Not to mention they're a very reserved people outwardly. It may seem unnecessary to most but that's the foundation the culture was built on.

So while we may know him as the creator of this game, his fiance only knows him as the person he's had to show others. It's the same way you don't ramble your fetishes on the first date but bump that up and multiply it by one hundred. Failure to either erase this lifestyle or keep it very well hidden could mean losing more than you'd expect and at this stage would likely make him too miserable in too many avenues to want to continue anyway. For him, it's the danger of the domino effect. Wife finds out > families find out > job finds out > friends find out > soon there won't be much for him to go in terms of social acceptance (except the internet). As much as we like this game, it was only a hobby for him and most likely did it in his spare time. While he does want to please his base, judging by getting married, he did always try to have a real life even more so. I can understand the disappointment in how this would be the cause in which the game either gets abandoned or put on hiatus indefinitely but I also understand that he's also prioritizing having a real, productive life over this.

No white knighting here, this just needs to be said every now and then to help some know this can be how things end up over there (or anywhere really but there's a higher chance of that over there). Some guys get lucky and get with a girl that either doesn't mind, understands the monetary value of said hobby, or the very slim chance of being interested in the process too. Like he said, if he can maneuver in a way that helps her ease into what he's been doing, then there's a chance he can continue but it all has to be played out very accurately. I think we'll know for sure where the game stands once they've settled into the marriage. How that plays out should be fine to anyone wanting him to at least be happy with how he wanted his life to progress. I'm just glad others are willing to pick up where he left off by making similar games.

Unfortuantely, I can only speak for the general and normal population. It's incredible that some things lasted as long as they did. either way, I can only assume his interests are normal in an individual sense but I can see even those being a problem in a marital atmosphere. Here's hoping his wife is also a closet otaku. lol

As far as the other game goes, since there are ways to send feedback directly to him, I'll be sure to mention adding that race in as a possibility.

Sex drive will drop thanks to wife handling him, obligations towards marriage, future, and possible kids will be taken into account and held to a higher standard. His commitment and responsibilities towards his circle will not be nearly as important, with good reason of course, and a stable job will be preferable to H game cash. At best we can expect him to be similar to the Unholy Sanctuary dev since he's in a similar situation and just commit to short quick H games that take years to make.

RIP, Succubus Senki is probably the best formula for SRPGs so far too, unfortunate barely anyone else has done it, only one I can think of is Netoria tactics. Duel was cool too but we have that other animated card H game at least.

I think the best we're going to be able to do is get a few modders for this game and create a "fan Part 2" with the help of different animators/illustrators (and his permission, or not if truly abandoned) or, better yet, support the devs of the other games like this. The process of creating this type of game seems fairly simple, with most of the work coming from illustrators and writing up the story/scenes if anyone wanted to put together a team to make one themselves. I for one am in the know and graces of many illustrators/animators and would be able to coordinate any needed commissions for cards/characters.

Regardless, I can only wish this dev a wonderful new life as he's living one most wish they had.
