Could have sworn we had a game thread for this but cannot find it for the life of me, so posting here:

I loved the hell out of this game but one thing that always fell short for me was how easy it was to escape the grabs. Trying to edit it myself now to tweak it but I am having absolutely 0 luck. I tried to edit the values using MTool and getting the shrine amulet to make it easier to escape grabs and reverse it, but I could never make it work.

I don't suppose any hero is aware of how to make the grabs harder, such as what value and variable to edit with MTool to make it so?

I must admit that I understand how you feel. While I didn't test extensively, it didn't feel like the actual sexual stats had much impact on how hard grabs were to escape. I feel like the Succubus Change Counter being higher increased the speed of the climax gauge, but I also recall times where it didn't seem to have much impact at all. So I'd guess within the actual game systems there are several influences and a healthy amount of RNG baked in. Not that that helps with your query, mind, just volunteering information.

Hello everyone!
OP again...
I come back here after reading all these new posts [and also getting a craving to replay the game] to share a few things:
First off, yes, Mtool does work with this game! While it is machine translation, it at least gets the meaning of things across fairly well!
Second, I don't know how this website's policy is towards full-on uploading paid games for free, but if it's allowed, I have version 1.2.0 that I will gladly share if people want it. From my understanding, version 1.2.1 is a minor bugfix and that's about it...

No piracy here, we are a pure christian minecraft server thank you.

First page and latest updates should tell you it's fine to upload that stuff here if you so wish ;) a certain Hentai-sharing site reliably has a link too which is my go-to other than here.

Still trying to figure out which value to adjust also, though it's really defeated me the past day. Still no luck.

I wish I could help but I know nothing about wolf. You're right though, the game is too easy, after a few levels you just start blasting fools left and right and the grapples are too easy to escape from.

+1 If anyone who has used the MTL tool on the game can just post a MTL part of the game that'd be nice.

Update: I'll contact them and see if they want an English translation.
I'm assuming the dev didn't respond? They're a slippery one, disappearing for whole years only to return to make a game. That's how he was with his previous 2 titles.

Regrettably I haven't actually been able to reach out to them. I have a few other projects already underway that are more important to me at the moment.
While I can speak Japanese, it's...been pretty exhausting to actually reach out to developers and feel like there's a brick wall there.
I will see if I can write an email to them at least. And you're right, They're pretty spotty. Which is fine, I suppose. Please forgive my delays.

Edit: For the record, there is a reasonable chance that Translator++ has become compatible with translating this game. The author of T++ seems to have redone a lot of stuff. Their unpacker broke on this game, even though I've unpacked other games with the same Wolf version, I think?

However, I'm also not presently subscribed to T++, so it will be some time before a version that can actually work for me comes into my hands, if not going the author-route.

This information may be useful to other people, though.

The subscription entitles you to "new beta related features", which in this case happen to include the author's fixing of his disastrous wolf unpacker. He's admitted as much that the implementation of it was shit in the first place. I'm thankful the other things I'm translating in Wolf work in T++.

ArtisticTomato You should use to unpack your WolfRPG games. It's worked a treat for me so far. I generally recommend using a stand-alone unpacker then generating your projects from the already-unpacked game files. It gives T++ one less point of failure, which is particularly relevant if you prefer to only use T++ for storing the translation data.

Actually, come to that, I have an unpacker, but I never considered extracting the files beforehand and then loading those into T++. That's...probably something I should've considered. Whoopsie. I'll at least give that a go.

Honestly, where possible I don't like to do translations without contacting the author first, but this is one of those cases where I might.
